Pair of Irish Georgian cast sterling silver candlesticks. Traditional form of fluted baluster shaft on stepped serpentine foot; socket bellied with detachable cruciform bobeche. Ornament includes scallop shells and a range of human heads from long-tressed women to bearded men. Maker’s marks include stamp attributed to Royal Irish Silver Ltd, Dublin assay stamp, and 1969 date letter. English import marks include Sheffield Assay Office and Sheffield assay stamps, and 1968 date letter...

A pair of Chinese famille rose chargers each painted with the same scene of two long tailed pheasants perched in flowering boughs amongst blue pierced rocks, within a pierced enamelled & gilt spearhead border on a white ground. The backs of each glazed white with no marks.

Thin wool unlined kimono with katazome dots pattern. The wool kimono was made in 1950s. The ground is off-white and dots are red. It looks it was barely worn and in excellent condition. 1950s. 130cm x 154cm
Beautiful cased vase by Pallme-Konig und Habel, showing their excellent use of the casing technique! The vase is four layers of glass; orange, white, clear, then the decorative layer of textured red glass. The vase was then covered with irregular applied trailed decoration in black, which has been worked into the surface. The entire surface has been strongly iridized. The first photograph (white background) best shows the true color of the piece and the intensity of color...
This is a truly beautiful large pair of Japanese cloisonne vases. They stand 8 inches tall and are 8 1/2 inches across. The workmanship on these is tip-top quality. Not signed but were probably made by Ando or Gonda.Condition is excellent and the rims are silver.
Unusual basket form similar to Archimede Segusos' foglia designs. The form is colored a subtle gold pink with bullicante bubbles and ribs. This fine sculptural expression demonstrates the skill of the Murano glassblowers, measures 7"w x 6"d x 9"h, and is unmarked.
