This porcelain vase was produced in Copenhagen, Denmark by the Royal Copenhagen factory in the mid 20th century. It is marked with the inventory number 3143. The vase measures 9 inches tall and has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches. It has an interesting crenelated shape with a flared scalloped rim. This charming pair of vintage glass hound dogs, made by Archimede Seguso in the "nero a macchie di smalto bianco" (black with white spots) style in the 1950s. Documented in "Archimede Seguso, Lace & Stone" by Leslie Pina, P. 162, 213. Both are in excellent condition, with the dark-headed one having a few minor scuffs consistent with its age. They each stand 4" tall, 2 1/2" wide. Would sell individually for $225 each.

Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass.
