Abstract print by well-known Japanese print artist Masao Ohba (born 1928). He won first prize in 1998 at the 17th Biennale of Contemporary Ex Libris in Malbork, Poland. His work is colorful with interesting textures. This porcelain tea cup & Saucer was produced in Japan by Noritake in the early 1900s. The “Kormoru” mark was registered in London in 1908. This is beautiful and classy Japanese Shunkei Lacquer Fubako (stationary box) with fine Japanse Brocade design with flower and karakusa design. The form is strong and emphasizes those visual qualities unique to glass, and demonstrates the ability of the Muranese artisans to sculpturally interpret elements from their natural environment in masterful ways. Measuring 9.5"w x 4"h x 5.5"d, signed by Licio Zanetti, the sculpture is in good condition, with normal wear at the base.

This porcelain miniature tureen was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the handles and is 3 3/4 inches high. It is made of fine, hard paste porcelain. The piece is decorated with little hand painted insects and life-like fruits and vegetables. The finial on the lid is a half a lemon. Condition: Excellent
