Pair of finely detailed and colored, heavy, original painted cast iron bookends. They feature a log cabin with a red roof, surrounded by a forest of tall trees and shrubs beneath a full moon in a midnight blue sky. The casting is high quality with the trees and cabin in relief. The colors are original in red, green, blue, gold, brown, and white. Each bookend stands 6 1/4" (15.9 cm) tall, 4 1/2" (11.4 cm) wide, 2" (5 cm) deep and weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz. DESCRIPTION: A very good woven oak-splint basket in lobed buttocks form, used as a field gathering basket or a market basket for goods. This large early 1900’s Pennsylvania basket has a sturdy bentwood handle with double bentwood-wrapped rims; old varnish finish. Very good condition with minor usage wear. For size reference, the last photo in this listing shows this basket displayed on top of our Country Corner Cabinet (#A-CBL2). DIMENSIONS: 20” wide x 17" high.

A pair of signed Daum French crystal nut, candy or mint dishes. These serving bowls measure 3-1/2" across the tops and they stand 2-1/8" high. Each is acid stamped DAUM FRANCE, and this pair is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a fine patina of light scratches from use and a tiny shallow 1/16" shell chip or flake on the bottom edge of one bowl...

Offered are two fabulous Arlington Chemical Company Diagnostic Allergen Test Kits which were used to test skin sensitivity or allergy to a wide variety of potential allergans. The two boxed sets date to the 1940s - 1950s era and are in very nice condition. Both boxes are covered in a grained, leather-like material. The larger box shows wear as seen in the photograph.

Early Indian Hindu Pallava style Bronze seated statue of Parvati. Pala Hindu art is quite scarce and this is a wonderful intact figure very nice worn condition still retaining her features. She was cast in two pieces and the top of the base crimped around the separately cast figure.Size H 8" w 6" d 4"

Old Chinese carved stone birdbath. Made in 2 pieces that fit together nicely, the bottom is a Buddhist lion. The bowl has vague dragon like carving around the exterior. No condition issues. As shown the bird bath measures 18.5" high. Bowl or bath measures 9.5" diameter or across. Interior measures 7" across.

Wow, this is what they all want the perfect, partially restored nailed head, 1930s French leather Club chair. Back and bottom cushions have been restored with our signature Pyrenees French leather. They sit like a bit of heaven. Although not an exact pair, check out WA 27-24. They are so similar that they would work very well together. A pair of wild duck. Painted with ink and pigments on silk. Signed and sealed. It is attributed to Ishii Kinryo.

Ishii Kinryo(1842-1926) was a Japanese painter active during Meiji(1868-1912) - Taisho era(1912-1926)in Japan. He was a pupil of a prominent artist Furuichi Kinga(1805-1880) and Okamoto Shuki(1807-1862). Kinryo travelled all over the country and taught students at his art school after he got back to Okayama prefecture...

This is a really nice 4 inch high depression glass cobalt blue Sailboat, aka Ships, Ice Pail or Ice Tub made by Hazel Atlas Glass. This Ice Pail measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter across the top. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The white ships decoration is slightly discolored which is common in this decoration pattern. There are a few cleaners some use on the Ships, but we strive to leave items as we originally find them...
