This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.

Candle holder or small vase by Liisa Hallamaa for Arabia, stoneware, the upper part with eruptive glaze effects. In 1950 LA joined the Arabia company, where she became a great experimenter and innovator of glazes before opening up a studio of her own in 1971. Signed LH Arabia. This dynamic bear by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen has an incredible glaze. It measures 3 1/2" (8.25cm) tall and is 5" (13cm) in length. Mint condition. On the underside is painted three wavy lines and the artist's initials KK.

An Arabia Finland stoneware bowl, the inside with glazed decoration of a shrimp. 1960s, signed Arabia and NH (?) Width: 6 " / 15 cm. Condition: some iridescent and matte imperfections to the glaze in the centre (less evident than on the photo).

Wonderful size and design, this mid century modernist tile is by Sylvia Leuchovius (Sweden 1915-2003) for Rorstrand Ceramic company, where she created numerous whimsical and creative objects from functional and industrial to art objects. Measures 11 3/8" square and 1/2" deep. Sylvia designed for the Atelje line at Rorstrand, during the production of fine Swedish design for the modern taste, and most objects were made in limited numbers. This is a rarely found object as part of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg. It measures 1 5/8" tall and is 1 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is painted in silver Argenta, the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Gustavsberg, 958. Impressed is the letter S. Excellent condition. There is crazing, which is normal for the glaze.

This extraordinary hand colored lithograph is called "Beauty and the Beast". It was created in 1978 for Gustavsberg. Signed and dated (19)78. It measures 13 1/8" x 16 3/4". Mint condition.Purchased from an individual who acquired it directly from Stig L. himself.

Offered is a stunning vase by Berndt Friberg for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 5 1/4" high and is 3 1/2" in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code L (1970). The original label is fully intact. Excellent condition.

Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. A child's name is hand engraved on one side and can be easily buffed out by your jeweler. We will polish before shipping if requested.

This fish sculpture by Gunnar Nylund for Rorstrand, mounted on a wood pedestal, has an exceptional glaze. It measures 6 1/2" (16.5cm) tall. Excellent condition.

Here is an adorable bear sculpture by Knud Kuhn for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. It measures 3 1/8" high. On the underside is painted three wavy lines, Denmark, and 2/433, stating this was number 2 out of a run 433 pieces. Incised is number 12.

This porcelain demitasse set was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1930. The marking was used for this year. The set consists of a pot measuring 8 inches high with the lid, a sugar bowl with lid that is 6 inches across the handle and 3 1/2 inches high, a cream pitcher that measures 3 3/4 inches high and 6 cups that are 1 1/2 inches high and 6 saucers with a diameter of 4 1/8 inches. The set is decorated in the Art Deco style. There are stylized floral designs trailing across each piece...

This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. The modeling is well done and captures the character of our distant relative. She is hand painted in a naturalistic manner. Condition: Exellent first quality.
