Here is a lovely small tray in an exquisite blue and brown glaze by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 1 1/4" (3cm) high and is 5 1/2" (14cm) in diameter. On the understand Farsta is impressed on each of the four feet, Gustavsberg, Kage, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, Studio, and the date code Y. This piece was created in 1954. The name Hjelmberg is also etched. Mint condition.

The set consists of a pot measuring 8 inches high with the lid, a sugar bowl with lid that is 6 inches across the handle and 3 1/2 inches high, a cream pitcher that measures 3 3/4 inches high and 6 cups that are 1 1/2 inches high and 6 saucers with a diameter of 4 1/8 inches. This Art Deco charger, c 1939, is from Kupittaan pottery in Finland. The decoration, a male nude combined with a border of laurel leaves, suggests a Olympics venue. The 1940 Olympic Games, originally scheduled for Japan, was rescheduled for Helsinki, Finland. Those games were postponed because of the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939. This charger probably was created in anticipation of the Helsinki games. It measures 14" in diameter, and is in mint condition. A very rare object.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality...

This is a Swedish National Museum publication from 1975 devoted to the artisans and products made by the Gustavsberg factory. Profusely illustrated in black and white. Swedish text, but an invaluable reference guide because of the illustrations. Excellent condition.

This three cup candelabra (which may be turned upside down) measures 5" tall and is 7 1/8" in length. On the underside of one of the cups is painted Sweden 26III; on another the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia and the painter's mark of a star. The cups are hand painted in blue, yellow and red. This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). On the underside is incised KAI NIELSEN, 12, impressed is KOBENHAVN, B & G, the insignia of three houses. Impressed is 4024, 51C. Painted in black is Ø.775.

Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. One gold glazed to the interior, the other with an iridescent interior glaze in red and dark blue. The exterior of both with incised striations. The incisions of the smaller bowl are iridescent. The works of Hofverberg (1923-1998) always demonstrate his aim for perfection and concern for the glazes. The gold bowl is unmarked, the smaller bowl with incised SH...

Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. A child's name is hand engraved on one side and can be easily buffed out by your jeweler. We will polish before shipping if requested.

This is a truly elegant shaped TOBO vase by Erich and Ingrid Triller. It measures 6 3/8" (16cm) tall. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. The unusual glaze is a yellow ochre, and one of the finest examples of the Triller's artistry. Mint condition.

This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.

This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. The modeling is well done and captures the character of our distant relative. She is hand painted in a naturalistic manner. Condition: Exellent first quality.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It is 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are artist's initials and inventory numbers on the bottom, 104 over 396. The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. It is trimmed with gold, top and bottom. Condition: This handsome vase is in excellent condition.
