Mosaic pottery tazza and vase from the 1940s or 50s, by Gerbino, France. The handling and modelling of clays in various colors necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French studio pottery center of the period. Impressed marks Gerbino and Vallauris. Height of tazza "3 ½ / 9 cm and of the vase "5 ½ / 14 cm, diameter of tazza "6/ 15 cm. Condition: fine.

This set of 8 porcelain tea cups, saucers and dessert plates was produced in Germany at the renowned Nymphenburg factory. They are dated from 1958 through 1978. Most of the pieces have the dates on the bottom. The plates measure 7 inches in diameter, the saucers are 5 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. This is a really great Antique Curio Five Finger Vase made by McCoy in 1962. This Vase has a white matte finish with grapes and leaves on the front side. It measures 8 1/4 inches high X 10 1/4 inches wide at the widest part. It is in very good condition with no cracks, but does have a 1/4 inch chip on the bottom back corner. American Rockingham, the ware for which Bennington, Vermont became famous in the mid 19th century, is English in origin and name for the Marquis of Rockingham, whose works at Swinton produced a ware similar brownish color. The pottery itself is cream colored or yellow ware that is dipped in or spattered with a brown glaze before firing.

Cylindrical, the interior glazed in a speckled grey and brown, the exterior with a dark brown glaze, leaving some stripes and the horizontal border unglazed. Diameter "5¾/ 14,5 cm, height "3¼/ 8 cm. Incised marks Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.

Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a circular stoneware bowl, covered all over with Lava glaze, full of “volcanic” effects in intense shades of yellowish-green and orange. This pattern is also seen in vases, boxes etc. from Bitossi. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of this renown Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/564 (?) and Italy. This is a porcelain figurine made in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. The height is 11 1/8 inches, the width is 7 inches and it is 4 inches deep. The model number 1567 is impressed in the base. There are artist's initials impressed in the base. The piece depicts a family of koalas clinging to a tree limb. They are bright eyed and quite adorable. They are hand painted in life-like colors.
