This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend before World War II. It is 5 3/4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches high. The box is molded in the shape of a bunch of asparagus tied up with a pink ribbon. It is hand painted with nice detail. Condition: Excellent

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

A happily little soul evidently getting much pleasure from the clashing together two metal pot lids. She kneels with her feel tucked under, and her "cymbals" are held on high for maximum effect. Her cheeks are dimpled, her eyes are blue, and she wears a close-fitting brown bonnet, held in place under her chin by a huge pink-brown bow; her curled light brown hair can be seen at her forehead and cheeks...

Vintage demitasse cup and saucer by Royal Doulton in the "Reynard the Fox" pattern. The saucer measures approximately 4.5" in diameter and the cup measures approximately 2.5" tall and 2 1/8" in diameter across the base. It has a riding crop detail for the handle that stretches around the base. The fox and crop detail are slightly raised and beautifully hand-painted. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.

English Wedgwood Jasper Ware Pitcher, 4 3/4" high, 4 1/4" wide with twisted rope handle, dark blue with beautifully applied and executed low relief classical design on dark blue body and the grape vine on top border is higher relief than classical figures below, the detail is very delicate and finely done, impressed mark "Wedgwood" and "Made in England" on the bottom, some dark stain on the white figures. This Goebel Friar Tuck egg timer is 3.5" tall and 4" wide. The mark is Large stylized TMK 3LS 1957-1963.

Underglaze green mark "Rosenthal" "Selb-Germany, Helena" on the bottom. The condition is excellent, specially gold finish.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1930. It has a diameter of 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. The decoration is hand painted in a realistic manner with vibrant colors. The rim is trimmed with heavy gilding. This is a first quality plate in excellent condition.

Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. Classical urn vase by Herend. The porcelain factory in Herend, Hungary, was founded in the 1820's and is still working. The urn is the raspberry red version of their Chinese Bouquet pattern, the mark indicates a date before 1980. No lid. Height "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing. She has a tan color dress with green hat and buttons and edging on her dress with gold muff. Dimension : 7-3/4"H.

LIBERTY BLUE by STAFFORDSHIRE was made circa 1975 - 1981.

The teapot has the usual crazing and one chip on the underside of the lid. Pictures 3 & 4 try to show the underside lip and the view from the top to give you a better view of the actual damage.

A hand painted porcelain Japanese bowl in the style of earlier Nabeshima high footed shallow bowls. The blue is painted underglaze and the green and brown are painted over the glaze in enamels. Bodhidharma was a Buddhist who came to China in the 5th or 6th century and is credited with the founding of Chan Buddhism which in Japan became Zen Buddhism. This McCoy fruit wall pocket is 7 3/4" x 6 3/4". This is circa early 1950s. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this item. It has the usual McCoy crazing and the obvious paint loss which I believe adds character and looks very real as if it were in a tree.

This is a wonderful hand painted cottageware /cottage ware biscuit jar, biscuit barrel or cookie jar made by Price Brothers, Kensington, Staffordshire England. This item is from the 1940s and is marked Ye Olde Cottage. The shape is a thatched cottage with it's original rattan handle. It is 7" tall without the handle x 5" deep x 6" wide. These is a flake on the inside rim.

Here is an adorable bear sculpture by Knud Kuhn for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. It measures 3 1/8" high. On the underside is painted three wavy lines, Denmark, and 2/433, stating this was number 2 out of a run 433 pieces. Incised is number 12.

These four Minton Gold Ancestral dessert plates (#S 595) are quite handsome indeed. Each are marked on the back and also each has the Minton imprint. The brown-red transfer decoration of flowers and leaves is painted with turquoise and pink enamel to accent the flowers. Each plate is trimmed in gold and is in excellent condition. Measures 7 7/8" across the scalloped rim. Production dates: 1944-1976. Book price $45.00 a plate.
