Offered is this beautiful green pulled-feather vase, made by Durand (Vineland Glass Company) around 1930. The vase is 6 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. Polished pontil. Unsigned, but guaranteed to have been made by Durand (similar-shaped vase is shown in Meschi's book - see last picture).
Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. Offered is this beautiful, 'Osiris'-type art glass vase with applied handles, made most likely, by Stevens & Williams in England, around 1890. Probably the 'Pull-up' machine, invented by John Northwood (when he was Artistic Director at Stevens & Williams), was used for the zippered pattern on the vase. The vase is 9 inches (23 cm) tall and 5 inches wide. It is in good condition. The handles on the vase fluoresce in a gentle-green coloration, typical of 19th century soda-lime glass...

Fulvio Bianconi designed the fasce verticale series for Venini. This pair is in good condition. The metal parts show the patina of age. An interesting detail regarding this pair is the rod that runs up the center of the lamp, concealing the wire, is covered with a ribbed clear glass tube which adds an attractive element of finish to the lamps. The lamps are 23" to top of glass.

A beautiful, Murano glass vase with the 'Mezza Filigrana' decor. The decor of the vase is sandwiched between a clear outer glass layer and an inner white glass layer. The glass is 3/8 inches (1 cm) thick. The heavy vase is 13 inches (33 cm) tall and 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide. It is without chips or cracks. There are some fabrication/annealing lines (see pictures). Unsigned. Though many Murano glass houses made vases in this technique, this vase is attributed to Barovier & Toso.

Sculpted modern sommerso bowl in crystal glass profusely infused with silver foil. The form casts a rich golden hue similar to the colors one finds around Venice at certain times of day. The form is in excellent condition, measures 5"x5"x2"h, unmarked.

Dark blue over camphor Galle cameo miniature vase. This 4 1/4 inch tall vase is just the right size for that little empty space in your vitrine. The blue forest scene is very nicely carved with the high points of the design having a glossy finish. The vase is signed (see view 5 in the photographs) and there is no damage.
Superb large modern glass mold blown vessel with iridescent scavo textured surface. One of my Venetian colleagues, a dealer in 20th century Murano Glass identified this awesome vessel as the design of Ermanno Nason for Cenedese and valued it at 1000euro. This glass vase was produced in France in the 1920s. We attribute it to Daum Lorrain for its color and style. It is not signed. The vase is 12 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 5 3/4 inches. It is blown into a mold producing its art deco form. The base is thick and quite heavy. The vase draws gracefully upward from this point with the glass thinning significantly. The colors within the glass are iron red and mauve. They form a pattern with a marble like texture...

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 3 1/2 inch cocktail tumbler in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.)
