Bowl or dish in Sommerso technique, clear glass and grass green, designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glass works, Sweden. VL was appointed chief designer at Kosta in 1950, and the bowl was produced in the mid 50’s. Incised mark Kosta LH 1308/75 (model number), where L is for Lindstrand and H means artisanal, made by hand. Height "2 / 5 and width "3 ¾ / 9.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Normandie is a depression glass pattern often called by the carnival glass pattern name 'Bouquet and Lattice'. This stunning vase of dark purple cut-to-clear glass is reminiscent of the fine work done by Bohemian or Belgian glassworks. It has a dramatic graduated shape and is molded with sharp, vertical panels with impressed elongated ovals. It stands 8 inches high with a rim diameter of 4 3/4 inches. Some wear to base; minor scratches to vase body.

This vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the vase was produced in the late 1920's. The vase is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2753 Pine-Cone vase, and measures 6 1/2 inches high. The glass is light blue with a satin/acid etched interior to give more dimension to the details in the pattern. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Consolidated Glass.

The Manhattan pattern was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1939 to 1941. Its clean, deco lines makes it very popular with today's collectors. Offered here is the center insert for the relish set in excellent condition. The center insert was only made in clear, even though the triangle side inserts come in crystal, ruby and pink. This is an extraordinary etched footed bowl created by Goran Warff for Kosta. It measures 5 3/4" (15cm) high and is 11 1/2" (29cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Kosta, WG, and S773. Excellent condition.

Fostoria American tall Sherbet Goblet, 4.75" tall, is in mint condition. Eight stems are available. Fostoria produced this pattern from 1915 til 1981.
