This is a HANDMADE EUROPEAN SILVER STORK FIGURINE from a Maryland Estate. The size is 2" Tall X 2 1/4" Wide X 11/16" across the back of the Wings which is the Widest point. Stamped 835 and likely made in Italy. This STORK is finely Detailed ...able to see the Feathered Body and Eyes. Standing on One Foot and holding the "Bundle of Joy" there is a Tag for Name & Date Engraving. Circa third quarter of the 20th Century, perhaps earlier, and In EXCELLENT Condition...

A modernist pair of Sterling Silver salt and pepper shakers by Rancho Alegre. Main portion is in a brushed texture contrasting with the bottom disks which are shiny and smooth. The very top parts are shiny also. Measure 3" tall and 1 1/2" across the bottom. Signed Rancho Alegre, Sterling, Taxco and 925. Also signed N. Giles on the bottom of one, probably for the designer. Nice condition with some minor tarnish. Pre eagle, 1948. Fine Mid Century feel.

A beautiful set of six silverplated scallop shell dishes by Tiffany & Co. The dishes are worked with wonderful detail—even the feet have a decorative treatment similar to snail shells. A very handsomely decorated set of 12 sterling silver demitasse spoons. The handles are finely decorated with a cast and pierced stylized bellflower. The swirling character of the finial design nicely contrasts with the more angular line of the lower handles and the oval bowls. The backs are fully marked with Swedish hallmarks for 830 silver, including the town mark for Norberg.

Individual salt and pepper set of Guilloche enamel over sterling silver having an open salt dish and a mushroom shaped pepper shaker. Made in Denmark by Ela. In excellent condition, they measure: Salt 2" diameter, .75" high; Pepper 1.5" diameter, 1.75" high.

Although the detailed design is similar, each of these Spratling candlesticks were handwrought a few years apart. Each carries specific Spratling hallmarks coinciding with their construction dates. The earlier example is 2 1/8" high. The later is 2 1/4" high. Each measures 2 1/4" across at the base. The pair weigh 155 grams. Both are in beautiful condition. This pretty crystal and sterling silver perfume bottle has a partial mark for Sterling (and it tests as sterling), and another partial mark: “…AXCO” for TAXCO. An ornate good quality silver plate 4 PC tea set and matching large tray. This set consists of the 5-3/4" (lip to handle) cream jug, the 8" handle to handle covered sugar bowl, the 9-1/8" high coffee pot with wood handle, and the 12" wood handle to spout teapot, together with the engraved 27-1/4" x 16" duck footed serving tray. The tea set has gadroon edges and the pieces are stamped SILVERPLATE ON COPPER SHEFFIELD REPRODUCTION with the International mark and the 1028 pattern number...

This Mangus Aase "Rose" cream or bouillon ladle is 6.5" long The bowl is 2 7/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is hallmarked K.W.830s Mangus Aase symbol NM. The NM is the generic mark which roughly translates as design copyright. The mark was used from 1876-1953.

Notice the hook on the reverse and that this ladle has a gold wash bowl. It is also hallmarked 18-7-1931.

Handmade, each are of slightly different proportion - each are approximately 3" high and 1 3/4" diameter at the base. Quite heavy, they each way, approximately 3 troy ounces. Each are marked "LOS CASTILLO STERLING MEXICO HANDWROUGHT 15". The interesting thing is that one is marked "123" and the other,"153", although they are a matching set...

An interesting silver case with enameled hunter shooting at ducks. No marks. The opening measures 2-3/16" round and the piece is 3-1/2" (h) x 4-1/2"(w) x 1" Two holes for screws are on the back. There is a small dab of solder on the top inside. This appears to be silverplate and would benefit from a cleaning.

Research shows likely of Venezualan or Argentinian origin this SILVER TEA STRAINER Measures 8 1/2" in Length with a Bowl 3" across.
