Being offered is a heavy circa 1950 sterling silver tray by Sanborns, of Mexico City, Mexico, entirely handwrought rectangular shaped tray fromed from a sheet of heavy gauge silver; resting on four domed feet, perfect for a dresser, for appetizers, olives, a luxurious soap dish etc. Dimensions: 7 inches long by 5 inches wide by 1/4 of an inch tall. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Great silver guage…..heavy 7.5 ozs.

Pair of Neoclassical-style gilt sterling silver tea urns. Each: Ovoid bowl on raised foot mounted to round base. Cover domed with knopped top terminating in bud finial. Swags and acanthus leaves as well as beading and leaf and dart. Fluted spout with carved leaf twist tap (one in black and one in white). Traditional vessels revved up with scaly and entwined snake handles. One marked “Sterling Silver” and the other marked “Sterling”...

Unusual sterling silver bird, an eagle or phoenix, from Taxco, Mexico. Designed and produced in the early 1950's, the intricately detailed head, neck, feathers, legs and feet are attached to the body which is a hard stone egg. In excellent condition, this rare find stands 5" high by 3.25" head to tail.

This handmade allover hammered bulbous pitcher featuring mother of pearl applied inset on stylized body and large curved handle. Dimensions are 8 inches tall by 8 inches across the handle. This is a wonderful sterling silver cigarette case with delicately engraved beautiful floral motif on the front panel. The cigarette retainer is also silver and very unique. It consist of two interlinked sections in a way that with a slight pull it forms a raised arch to access the cigarettes and with another push retains the stable position...

A very uncommon graduated sterling silver handled jigger by one of Mexico’s most important Art Deco and modernist silversmiths, Juvento Lopez Reyes. He opened his studio, Plateria del Recreo in 1935, making most streamlined hollowware items in the Art Deco and modernist taste. The base is fully stamped with mark used by Reyes in the 1930s and 40s. The stepped sides of the jigger mark off .5, 1, 1.5 and 2-oz levels.

A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red, meant to signify “go,” “caution,” and “stop.” Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger’s bottom. The bottom is hallmarked by Gorham.
