Spratling designed this extraordinary pair of sterling wall sconces in the 1950's. Hand forged in sterling silver, each sconce measures 7 1/4" high X 7 1/4" across. Total weight of the pair is 300 grams. The sunburst composition is reminiscent of the sterling silver necklace Spratling designed for cosmetic entrepreneur & philanthropist Helena Rubenstein in the 1940's. The sconces are in beautiful vintage condition. Both are signed WILLIAM SPRATLING TAXCO MEXICO, eagle 30.

Being offered is a rare and early circa 1955 sterling silver and wood salad serving set made by William Spratling of Taxco, Mexico; handcrafted salad set made of carved wood with incised lines and silver striated bands on the handles. A Continental "800" Silver Ewer. Hand made in Italy, The Ewer weights 15.5 Troy ounces and is 12 inches high. There is a floral repousse pattern on the body and the mark on the base is "800 Lavorato a Mano 802 AL". It is from the mid-20th century. Excellent condition.

A well made vintage WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik Germany) .800 silver soup ladle in the Chippendale pattern. Chippendale has been manufactured by WMF since 1930. This ladle measures 12-1/2" long, 3-7/8" across the bowl, which has curved edges, and it weighs an impressive 6.4 ounces. It is stamped WMF and 800, with the crescent moon and crown. It has an RD monogram, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, corrosion, pattern wear, cracks, repairs or damage...

An Edwardian period sterling silver ladies mesh purse or handbag circa 1900 1910. It is in excellent antique condition - no damage or missing parts and it has the original antique chain handle. It snaps shut firmly and evenly. It has not been initialled or engraved. It measures 5 " in width when it is hanging down, & 9" wide when extended. It measures 5 3/4" from top to bottom, not including the chain handle, which measures 14" in straight length...

A Modernist sterling silver graduated jigger by Tiffany marked off in half-ounce increments. The bottom is marked “Tiffany & Co./Makers/Sterling Silver/22714.”

Very fine sterling silver trumpet vase with a ruby glass liner. The vase's body is intricately pierced in an acanthus leaf motif to show the rich red liner. The undulating flared rim lends a slight Art Nouveau feeling to the overall look. The base is marked for the Watson Co.

A Rare Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks from George Jensen, USA, designed by Alphonse LaPaglia. Dimensions; 5" high x 4" at the base; weight, 14.6 Troy ounces. Circa; 1941-1950. Excellent condition. Jensen USA was operated by Frederik Lunning during and just after the war, when merchandise from Denmark was unavailable. He was the director of Jensen Operations in the US. LaPaglia was one of the designers working with him.

A Large and Heavy Paul Revere (Sons of Liberty) Bowl by Crichton Brothers of London through their New York Affiliate. The Bowl is 10" in diameter and 5" high and 5.25" at the base and weighs 29.1 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on the side "CAV FBV 1910-1035", presumably given as a 25th Anniversary gift that year. It is in excellent condition. Note that the original is in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Although the detailed design is similar, each of these Spratling candlesticks were handwrought a few years apart. Each carries specific Spratling hallmarks coinciding with their construction dates. The earlier example is 2 1/8" high. The later is 2 1/4" high. Each measures 2 1/4" across at the base. The pair weigh 155 grams. Both are in beautiful condition. A sterling silver corkscrew by International Silver in one of the company’s 1930s Art Deco designs. Clearly patterned after the popular Scandinavian designs of the period, this design is very similar to “Royal Danish”, “Sonja” and “Norse”. The handle is marked with International’s older hallmark and the pattern number “NX14”.

A George Erickson Sterling Silver Claret or Ice Tea Spoon. Erickson was an Arts and Crafts silversmith who worked for Arthur Stone from 1915-1932 and then went out on his own.
