Pair of dramatic sterling silver seafood serving bowls. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Each: Two joined scallop-shells bowls on scallop-shell supports. A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. A graphic contrast between the scales and suckers of the octopus and the controlled and stylized ornament on the shells. Very original...

Tole painted tin spill vase in the form of a birch tree surrounded by a farmyard scene of a rooster and hen.

Origin: probably Germany, possibly France, ca. 1930. Dimensions: 7-1/4" high. Condition: typical isolated paint loss near upper edge and near leaves.

A Continental "800" Silver Ewer. Hand made in Italy, The Ewer weights 15.5 Troy ounces and is 12 inches high. There is a floral repousse pattern on the body and the mark on the base is "800 Lavorato a Mano 802 AL". It is from the mid-20th century. Excellent condition.

A 2-1/4" tall vintage sterling silver baby mug. This mug is stamped STERLING 970 (possibly the model number), and it weighs 54 grams. This item has a SIMONE monogram, and it is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor denting around the bottom rim. Sterling silver gravy ladle in Kirk's 1937 "Rose" pattern. Fully decorated with a repousse floral design in the great Baltimore silver tradition, this piece would look lovely mixed with similar patterns such as Kirk "Repousse", Stieff "Rose", Schofield "Baltimore Rose", etc. The reverse is marked with Kirk's mark from the period 1927-1961. Excellent condition; no monogram or removal. 7-1/8" long.

A nice quality openwork pierced sterling silver serving tray by Ryrie Ellis (later Birks) c1920s. This 9" tray features hand engraving in the cutouts and it weighs 182.5 grams.
