These 10 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1932. They have the date cipher that indicates this year. The plates have a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. They are made of fine bone china and have a slightly scalloped edge. The ground color is cobalt blue with a lacy fern type gilding over it. The centers of each plate have hand paint bouquets of flowers in bright colors. The plates are signed by the Worcester artist, Townsend. No two plates are exactly the same...

Cover interior gilt. Worn marks including maker’s stamp for Arthur & John Zimmerman, a Birmingham maker active from the 1920s to 1940s. Very good condition.

Vintage sterling silver figural jigger in the form of a thimble. The rim is engraved "Just a thimblefull." Thimble jiggers became popular in the Victorian era and remained so through the mid-20th century. The base is hallmarked by Towle.

A vintage pair of Chinese porcelain vases purchased in New York during the early 70's. The sexagonal vases feature a bird and flower motif. The gilded rims show faint wear. Marked with a red stamp seal and Made in Hong Kong label. 12-1/4" (h), just shy of 5-1/2" (w).

Beautiful unsigned Steuben gold ruby cut to clear champagne glass. Make your Veuve Clicquot champagne taste even better in this 6 1/8 inch tall Steuben champagne glass in colorless crystal with a red border. The glass matches shape 6596 in the factory drawings and is decorated in the "Fountain" pattern as shown in plate 7.42 of Dimitroff’s "Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass." Large sterling silver berry spoon in Kirk's wonderful "Repousse" pattern. Certainly the most famous of all silver patterns to emerge from Baltimore, "Repousse" is filled with flowers such as roses, daisies and forget-me-nots. The bowl of the spoon is decorated with mixed fruit including strawberries, apples, grapes and raspberries. The back is marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling", the mark used between 1927 and 1961.
