If you don't collect Jadeite, this one might get you started. It is provocative and unique among Jadeite wares, featuring a voluptuous nude female figure on each of the 3 sides of the vase. Good condition with original base punch hole intact. The main defect is 2 parallel small tight cracks about 2 millimeters. There is also some faint discoloration around this condition. This is a Chinese Scholar's table art object or ink stone for calligraphy art and used with ink cake. It is of vintage /old used piece, circa 1950s or earlier with some kind of seal make or workshop mark on it, it is of the chinese lion pattern, moulded and very heavy...please ask for more photos. This chalkware TV lamp is of a deer jumping over a log at the edge of a forest. The lamp is painted in greens, browns and black, and is wonderfully detailed, from the bark on the log, to the branches on the trees. The condition is excellent, with almost no paint loss, a few flakes here and there, and no chips that I can find...

A wonderful heavy sterling silver double jigger by modernist silversmith Alphonse La Paglia. The two tapered vessels are joined by a series of silver spheres and rings that are reportedly intended to represent flower bulbs and roots. The overall appearance is severe and very elegant. La Paglia originally worked in the U.S. for Georg Jensen USA, then at International Silver beginning in 1952 until his death the following year. His designs were produced until 1957...
