Measuring 5 1/2" across and 1 1/2" high this pair of vintage ash trays were designed by William Spralting circa 1940-50. Weighing 178 grams the pair are in excellent condition. Each is fully hallmarked beneath the base. Pictured on Goddards' spratlingsilver.com.

A vintage sterling silver Caddy spoon by William Spratling with a lightly hammered finish and shovel design. This spoon is from the first design period.

Measures 3 5/8" long and 1 1/2" across. Dates from before 1946. Marked with the script 'WS' surrounded by Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. Marks show some wear. Has minor wear to the surface appropriate to the age, some tarnish and surface scratches.

Classic design.

The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. Set consists of a two-pronged meat fork(14" long) and two carving knives(17" and 15 1/2" long each). The rosewood and sterling handles have a glorious design and the knives blades are iron(and have some rust). The handles are in excellent condition. The fork is marked "HA(stylized) 940 TAXCO 9(bellmark)...

Modern sterling silver porringer. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round with straight sides. Cast open cinquefoil handle inset with acorn-nibbling squirrel. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 23111, director’s letter m (1907-47), and wartime star (1943-5). Very good condition.

A fine sterling silver 2-3/4" tall baby mug with a gilt interior from the 1950s. This mug is stamped LULLABY STERLING S168, it weighs 44.2 grams and it has a TODD monogram. Being offered is an exceptional and rare pair of circa 1944 sterling silver votive candle holders by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Entirely handcrafted flared bowls with silver wire & ball feet. Dimensions: 3 1/2 inches diameter by 2 inches tall. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. These are usually offered as salt cellars, and can be used as salt cellars, but Spratling’s original design was for votive candle use. Other pairs are available.

A pair of large Taxco, Mexico sterling silver picture frames by the noted female designer, Bernice Goodspeed. May be purchased as a pair or individually.

They both measures about 18 1/4" long and 15 1/4" wide with openings of 13" x 10". Will accommodate 11" x 14" pictures. The backs and easels are made from ebonized wood.

Being offered is a superb circa 1945 sterling silver pitcher by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; handwrought bulbous form originally, specifically designed as a sangria pitcher with three applied floral motifs on the body; flared neck; ribbon handle with ruffle decoration, but of course pitcher can be used for water, iced tea etc. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches diameter. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Weight is a hefty 38 ozs.

American Colonial sterling silver bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1948. Curved and tapering sides, flared rim, and stepped foot. For serving or presentation with lots of room for engraving.
