Three small dishes in a soft leaflike shape, in the white and very thinly glazed. From the Revernay pottery (founded in a village with that name around 1900 and moved to Vallauris in southern France after WWII). Many avantgarde ceramists who worked in modernist style – one of them being Picasso – gathered in Vallauris in the 50s and 60s. Width "3 / 7.5 cm. Condition: rim frits to one dish (cf. pics).
Vintage pair of hand wrought sterling silver and rosewood serving pieces designed & signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The spoon bowl and fork tynes are hand hammered. Each piece measures 12 1/2" long. Excellent condition with no dents or dings. Wood handles in beautiful condition as well. Set of 4 sterling silver figures of Bacchus. Made by Buccellati in Italy. A young Bacchus prances and gambols. One figure holds a grapevine. Another holds a large ivy leaf. The other two manipulate drapery. The infant deity, in all his manifestations, is buck naked apart from the artfully posed waistbands. Soft bottoms and stubby legs are on view. An attractive decoration for the wine cellar.

This mug was gifted and engraved on the bottom in 1969. In excellent condition, it measures 6 1/4" from bottom to top of handle, 5 1/2" from bottom to top of tankard, and 4 3/4" in diameter.
