A modernist pair of Sterling Silver salt and pepper shakers by Rancho Alegre. Main portion is in a brushed texture contrasting with the bottom disks which are shiny and smooth. The very top parts are shiny also. Measure 3" tall and 1 1/2" across the bottom. Signed Rancho Alegre, Sterling, Taxco and 925. Also signed N. Giles on the bottom of one, probably for the designer. Nice condition with some minor tarnish. Pre eagle, 1948. Fine Mid Century feel.

This large, heavy vase stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and tapers to 9.5 inches (24cm) wide at the opening. The rim of vase is gently scalloped. The clear ice-blue color of the glass is typical of Stromberg, and the vase is signed in script "strombergshyttan B99" to the base. Condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Circa 1935/36

Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. A child's name is hand engraved on one side and can be easily buffed out by your jeweler. We will polish before shipping if requested.

Amazingly this Heisey Flat Panel octagon bowl is in excellent, undamaged condition. The delicate Flamingo Pink softens to almost clear in strong light across this console bowl. The octagon rib flutes radiate from the cut octagon collar foot to the octagon broad rim. This is an example of beautiful flawless glass made famous by Heisey. This display bowl is 8 7/8" across the rim, and 2 3/4" high. I have other Heisey and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek...

This pretty depression glass crystal frosted Number 1008 Oleander, Willow or Magnolia Leaf Two-Handled Footed Comport or Mayonnaise with Ladle was made by Indiana Glass from the 1940s to the 1970s. This Comport measures 4 Inches high X 5 1/2 Inches in diameter without the handles. The ladle measures 5 Inches long. Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. A fine sterling silver 2-3/4" tall baby mug with a gilt interior from the 1950s. This mug is stamped LULLABY STERLING S168, it weighs 44.2 grams and it has a TODD monogram. Lullaby was one of the lines from the Alvin silver company and this great baby gift is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This is a real sweet antique miniature cold painted bronze African American boy and girl group reading the newspaper with a Holland headline. It is circa 1890. The boy and girl are dressed in Dutch costume. It measures 1" tall x 5/8" wide.

Rare blond tortoiseshell case, circa 1930, is considered the most desirable of all tortoiseshell. This handmade case was originally made to hold cigarettes but is a perfect size for business cards. Having a rich amber color and inlaid with a gold diamond shape monogram SH, slightly domed and grained surface, arm swings out from base to create a stand. Measurements: 5"x 3 1/2"x 1/4". Very good vintage condition with minor surface scratches and small chip inside lip.

Horseshoe is the collector's name for Indiana Glass Company's pattern No. 612. Produced from 1930 to 1933, it's a lovely pattern that's as popular today as it was when it was first made. Offered here is the sugar bowl in yellow. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

Large Splatter glass vase for Hadeland (Norway) designed by Gro Bergslien. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Fire polished pontil mark. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1970.

Sterling silver pastry server in Georg Jensen’s 1927 “Viking” pattern (also called “Nordisk”). This is one of the rarest Jensen patterns, and was designed by the master himself. It is beautifully crafted of the heaviest silver and combines traditional Scandinavian motifs with an Art Deco sensibility. The reverse is stamped with the hallmark used until 1930. This pattern has been out of production for many years, and is extremely hard to find.

Vintage pair of hand wrought sterling silver and rosewood serving pieces designed & signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The spoon bowl and fork tynes are hand hammered. Each piece measures 12 1/2" long. Excellent condition with no dents or dings. Wood handles in beautiful condition as well. Antique British Colonial Betel nut Brass Box with compartment, beautifully made with a piano hinge.Lockable but no key and the lock seems like it would work. Size just under 6" by 4" by 3"

Set of eight(8) English Crescent Porcelain Bouillon Soup Cups and Saucers(2 extra saucers), cups-2 1/8" high, 3 7/8" diameter- top of the rim, and saucer-7/8" high, 5 3/8" diameter, with hand painted enamel floral design over the transfer pink floral wreath decoration with gold accent on the rim. Produced and retailed by "Cuman Collamore Co. Fifth Avenue & 30th St. New York" before 1930's, marked in pink and impressed numbers on the bottom. No damages or restoration.

Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. European silver and enamel cigarette case, ca 1920. Rectangular, chamfered, and hinged. On cover a horse’s head appears in an entryway, with two protective borzoi dogs standing guard. Stable drama against a semi-abstract background of brick and stone, and purpling ground. Marks worn. Very good condition with strong color.
