A vintage Japanese Kamo Kimono Biraki Tansu in 2 sections made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hardware and natural finish. Upper section has 2 sliding doors behind which lies a split level shelf and 2 small drawers with a pair of hinged doors that hides 4 full width Kimono trays. The bottom section has 3 side by side drawers and 3 full width drawers below.

Really nice vintage brass 3-arm hunting horn chandelier. The 3 horn arms are connected in center to a large hunt horn that also has light in bottom. Heavy patina to brass. Also trimmed out with silver/chrome bands, knobs and mouthpieces. Made by Chapman in the 1980's. Original wiring but lights nicely. Pictures don't do this chandelier justice. Measures approx. 25" in diameter (widest part of globes) and 24" tall. Heavy solid piece. Hurricane/globes can be removed.

This is an unusual rectangular bronze casket-form in ornate Gothic Revival style, having cast bas relief, highly decorated with religious motif illustrating scenes from the life of Christ; circa 1870's. The original interior is lined with balsa wood and most likely used as a tobacco cigar caddy box. A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of Gideon the duck and his snail friend worked in chrome on a mahogany base. The design is by the famed French Art Deco illustrator Benjamin Rabier, who created a comic strip called "The Adventures of Gideon" in 1923. It was immensely popular and Rabier was commissioned to make a range of entertaining barware. Few of Rabier's designs were signed, but this example is signed with his full name.
