A pair of (typically) unmarked Majestic Japanned wood and brass table lamps c1950s. The black painted wood includes the 7 x 4-1/2" base with a crescent moon mounted on the brass upright with a brass ball separating it from the base. They stand 17-1/2" tall including the 12 x 6-1/2" shades, which are of fiberglass with plastic stringing on the borders and a wire cage for mounting on the lightbulb. They have their original cords with Leviton sockets with inspection stickers, and both lamps work...

17th-18thc hand carved hard wood capital or column top from a half column. Beautiful design with acanthus type leafs and flowers with traces of colors . The capital is very very aged on the back the front is stable and solid the back not so much . 5 pieces are available but the price is for each.
