This jade (nephrite) carving is a mid-20th century product. It is 3” high, 2 ¼” wide (measured from the widest part) and 1” thick. It depicts a playful monkey climbing on top of two pomegranates; a small RuYi (如意) scepter with LingZhi (靈芝) ends rests on the back of the carving. It is in great condition.

A spectacular pair of large jadeite paradise flycatchers measuring over 15 inches tall and on stand over 17" high. Carved from the same block of jadeite, they weigh over 30 lbs. The flycatchers are standing on rocks with intricately pierced and carved open peony, floral buds, flower branches, and butterflies. An apple green butterfly is perched on the male’s head. The jadeite is a pale lavender having lots of apple green striations with some small emerald and dark green markings...

1960's Chinese green and white jadeite carving of lotus and bamboo on a custom wood stand. A frog is perched on one of the lotus leaves and a bamboo stalk in the background serves to hold calligraphy brushes or fresh flowers. In excellent condition, it measures 7.25" high, on stand 8.75" high, 5.5 across, and about 3.5" deep.

A pair of Chinese semi precious stone crafted into a small magnolia tree. The tree is planted in a Chinese cloisonne pot. The container's body has a lovely blue background with abstracted lotus design, old gilt on edges. The entire tree is crafted as if an actual plant is planted in the pots.The cloisonne appears to be late 19th century. The semiprecious stones are of a later vintage. This Chinese well-carved lapis deity is 6 inches tall (with base, it is 7 ½ inches tall), 6 ½ inches wide and 3 ½ inches thick. It depicts the Shou Xing, the Chinese deity for longevity. The deity is holding a staff on his shoulder, a RuYi (scepter) is in his other hand. A boy and girl holding a giant peach with both hands are standing in front of him. A crane which has a small bat in its beak is at his side. The peach, Ruyi, crane and bat all mean good luck...

Very nice piece of Chinese hardstone fruit. The leaves are a translucent green jade with the persimmon being rose quartz. There are two small legs in the back for positioning and stability. In excellent condition, it measures as displayed 4" across.
