It is 11.5 inches (29.2 cm) tall by 6.8 inches (17.3 cm) wide. The plaque is 8 inches (20.5 cm) long by 5.5 inches (14 cm) wide. It weighs 1.9 LB without stand.

A nicely patinated soapstone stamp seal, Chinese, 19th.-20th. century AD.

A nice seal from the Gustav Oberländer collection, aquired the late 1980s to the collection. In yellowish brown soapstone with carvings on all sides in archaic style. Some wear and marks of use.

Size: 40 mm. tall and 27 mm. wide.

Condition: Choice, nice old patina.

This inlayed Chinese ebony brush holder is 7” high and 6 ½” in diameter. It depicts a Shou Lao (god of longevity) holding a cane; a young boy carrying a flower basket stands behind him. Another young boy wearing a red robe is leading a deer cart filled with flowers and plants and walks in front of Shou Lao and his companion. The inlayed materials are dyed coral, mother of pearl, lacquer and hard stone. It is a 1950’s product. Aside from small age cracks, it is in great condition.
