This drum handle is still provided with the wooden wedge which is used to fix it on the drum. The top shows 3 faces with open and threatening mouths, each face is separated by the Shaivite trisul. The center part is a very fine dorgi framed by spherical basketwork patterns the whole giving a shape that fits well in the hand. The triangular point shows a very beautiful sculptural work. ON each angle is a Makara mouth with wide open eyes and whose hands grip very realistically sculpted snakes...

This Ghurra which imitates a chain is carved from a single piece of wood so without any gluing. The top shows 2 two protectors sitting back to back like Janus H 6 cm. This work testifies to a great mastery of wood carving and also to a deep respect for churning work. H 23 cm

Large size gurra, the long stick consists of 4 beautifully carved long strings with an open space between them which demonstrates fine carving craftsmanship. A realistic rope knot is in the middle. The upper part shows two hands grasping the hole. Great sooty patina and obvious signs of heavy use. H 34cm

Old mask with a severe appearance. The position of the orbits is asymmetrical, the nose is long and tapered. The mouth is small open showing small carved teeth. The inner crving is clean and symmetrical with a cavity for the dancer's nose. The ears are sculpted and large in size. The holes for the passage of the carrying links are of conical sizes, certainly indicating that they were made using the technique of the reddened steel nail...
