19th C Indian seed pod scent vile with silver inlay wire and very fine camel bone turned cap with applicator and silver chain. Seems to be in as made condition. Note the bone is camel not ivory (bone does not yellow as ivory does) Size 4.5" applicator length 2 ".

17-18th c Bengali solid cast Bronze Temple Krishna statue. Very rare sculpture seldom seen in marble ever rarer in bronze at this size. Dark surface with solid cast base very heavy just under 16 pounds and 14.5" tall base 3.75 by 3.5". Loss of arms as seen in images.
A framed lithograph entitled "Horse" by the artist, Kaiko Moti (1921-1989). Moti was born in Bombay, India. He studied at the Bombay School of Fine Art and spent time living and working in Paris. He is most famous for his images of horses. This lithograph is signed in pencil and numbered 15 of 100. Framed.

Antique early 20th-century Indian padlock entirely made of brass and adorned with the Hindu god Hanuman on the front plate.
Please note that this lock is entirely made of brass, including body and shackle. The later Indian brass padlocks have an iron shackle instead of a flat brass shackle like this padlock.

Formal Indian Sari (just like the ones you see in Bollywood movies), worn for weddings or important religious occasions. This has never been worn. I acquired it from an estate where it has been sitting in a trunk for the past 20 years, and the inside humdity, which caused the brown dye to bleed into the embroidered border somewhat. Please examine images. This L: 5m x 1.4m and is handloomed silk. It was woven in Banaras in the two toned Tanchoi style and silver thread “jari” embroidery...

Photo Album with 128 Photos of August 30, 1937 Installation Festivities of Chandrasingji, a Jadija Rajput as Thakur of Drhol, Khawiatar, India. Photos by Joshi Studio, Rajkot. The album has a lot of wear, but the photos are in excellent condition. Most of the photos are 8.5 x 6 inches (22 x 15 cm) with several that are 12 x 9.5 inches (30 x 24 cm). Vintage brass “puja kalash” water or milk container used in ritual Hindu ceremonies from Southern India, H: 13cm/5.1in x D: 12cm/4.8in. Very finely turned in a simple but elegant shape and quite heavy, near 1kg- and signed (noted in enlargements), appears to be unused but with some patina- made circa mid 20th century.

From our Indian Subcontinent Collection, a large and elegant hand-etched brass floor lamp from Southern India. The etched designs on this piece are really quite intricate, and it is clear that a tremendous amount of time and handiwork went into the layout and artistry of this piece.
Size and Condition: 71 inches tall (just shy of 6 feet), lampshade is 18 inches in diameter at widest point. The lamp has been fitted with American electrical hardware and is still in good working order...
