Refined Inlaid Celadon Tea Bowl by the Last Korean Princess, Yi Bangja (1901 - 1989) with the original signed box. The glaze has the same prized celadon color and precise inlaid technique as that achieved by 12th century Korean potters. A Chinese philosopher of that period described Korean celadons as "The first under Heaven." The interior of the bowl features cranes flying in clouds (both longevity symbols) around a chrysanthemum in full bloom...

Koryo dynasty celadon bowl. The exterior with white and black slip inlaid decoration of chrysanthemum roundels within double rings and a scrolling vine pattern the interior with an upper scrolling pattern with 4 floral sprays. The olive green glaze pooling to blue-green and burned in the kiln to a drab tone on a portion of the exterior. 12th to 13th century. Good condition. Diameter 8 inches . Height almost 2 1/2 inches

A finely crafted lobed basin, supported on three feet in the shape prunus branches extending up the sides. For use in Ikebana flower arrangement. Signed in the bottom: Keishu ( Inami Keishu) . Original kiri-box fully signed. Showa, Mid 20th century. H 5.5 cm, D 29 cm. Condition: Excellent.

Korean porcelain celadon vase with black lacquer and MOP overlay. The condition of the porcelain is perfect, but the lacquer is not, some small pieces of mother of pearl are missing and some touch up paint around a section of the shoulder is evident. Still a very desirable vase that will display well. Measurements are 7 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches at the widest.
