Basket made of bark of hiba, a family of the Japanese cypress. It is used by a mountain worker, and tools, lunch or collected mushrooms are put in. In good condition except for a few breaks in the rim. The first half of the 20th century. W:28cm H:31cm
A Japanese Netsuke hand carved from Tsugenoki (Boxwood). Depicting a moon viewing rabbit, its paws, eyes and ears are very well detailed. Artist signed at the base.

Kashigata (wooden sweet mold,) Take (bamboo) motif, Japan, early 20th C. L.7.375"(18.5cm) x W.4.375") x H.1.375"(3.5cm.) This mold features a bamboo stalk with two groupings of leaves, and the sweetmaker has written "sa-sa-ba" (bamboo leaves) on the side of the mold. Bamboo's resilient nature makes it a symbol of resilience in hard times and was a traditional symbol used for many celebratory occasions, such as births and weddings...
Chinese Bamboo hanging wall decoration, Chinese Character incised in black, 11" high, 5 1/2" wide in the back, half moon shape. The condition is good except natural shrinkage of inner soft part of Bamboo, please see inside the top.

Chrysanthemum Fan Painting by Jeon Yeong Suk aka Yeo Cheong (1960 - ). The chrysanthemum's many petals is an ancient symbol of an abundant life or fertility. 21 x 6.5 inches, 53.5 x 16.5 cm. This, along with our Stock Numbers 1318 and 1320, is part of a set of three fan flower paintings by Jeon Yeong Suk.
A large Chinese 20th-century celadon glazed porcelain vase with a baluster body, rising to a trumpet neck, flanked by a dragon handles with rings.
The body is richly adorned with an incised in a low relief lotus pattern.
CONDITION: In very good condition, no cracks, chips, or repairs.
