Complete set of five Shan esoteric Buddhist images. These consist of a Buddha, three monks and a chedi. These are covered with traditional gold and back lacquer and the bodies are made from compressed powdered herbs or temple incense ash. They have a quirky abstract quality to them, their facelessness represents that the individual is inconsequential but has the potential for becoming a Buddha, on the bottom are the eight Burmese zodiac symbols based on the days of the week...

It is 38.1 inches (97 cm) in circumference by 17.1 inches (43.5 cm) long. The pendant is 3 inches (7.7 cm) long by 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.The smallest coral bead is 7.8 mm-8.4 mm. The largest coral bead 16 mm. The turquoise bead is 8.4mm-17mm. The total weight is 123.4 gram.

Pilgrim's hanten made of thin white cotton with many stamps of the sacred sites that are called "Shodo-shima Hachiju-Hachi-kasho Reijo (Shodo Island 88 holy places) located in Kagawa prefecture in Shikoku. The pilgrimage route was opened in late 17th century. The head band has stamps from Omine-san (Mt.Omine) in Nara prefecture. No sign of a place in the belly band. Rare Meiji metal Okimono of a Monkey Samurai or Sage unsigned , great sculpt nice detail in the fur . There are a few splits to the base and this figure has been clear coated long ago but its bubbling off and could be totally removed with little effort. We are not cleaning him and leaving that to the new owner. Size 13.5" by 7"

A rare and absolutely beautiful high end Yixing Teapot, China, should be pre 1980 and perhaps much older, since it comes from an old collection.
Made by a master potter with a fantastic moulded cobalt and torquise blue glaze. The pot is signed below with a makers mark, so far unresearched.
