There are four identical embroideries in this framed picture. These are early 20th century products. Every piece is about 5 ½ inches by 5 ½ inches. The gold frame is 18 ¼ inches long and 18 inches wide. It depicts five young boys, the one in the center is riding on a Qilin, others are on the corners and holding flowers and fruit in their hands. There are some chips on the frame and small scratches on the plexi-glass, but the embroideries are in good condition.
Made by a women of the Miao minority often referred to as the "tiny Miao" ...not because of their stature but because they were recongnize for their "tiny" embroidery stitches...
This jacket was worn for festivals ...and shows some use...wonderful display piece and also could be worn by a small person....

This ornate Siamese statue depicts a nobleman kneeling wearing court formal attire. A few areas of wear on the gilding as would be expected from handling a piece of this age. Siam changed its name to Thailand 1949...This statue predates the name change
He is 16 inches tall and weighs approx 7 lbs. No chips, no cracks, very good condition...

Japanese antique tall ikebana basket, made of split bamboo. This basket has an elongated square body separated into two different treatments. The upper portion of the basket is woven in a diagonal criss cross pattern while the bottom is woven with straight vertical pieces. The handle is made of twisted wisteria branch sections...
This Chinese Famille Rose brush holder is 5” high and 3 11/16” in diameter. It depicts an old sage and his young servant in a garden. The Chinese title of the picture is "Mr. Yuan-Ming admires chrysanthemum blossoms." The date on the side of the brush holder is winter, 1925. The artist’s name is Tu Zhu-Zhung. There is a red maker’s mark on the bottom which says New China Company, Nan-Chang City. It is in excellent condition.

Vintage Folk Art Chinese silk doily embroidered with good luck symbols of butterflies and bats and a centered peony, framed in a black linen border with gray silk binding in period shades of green, purple and hot pink, natural linen backing, easily opens to make a pillow if desired. Size: 13 1/2" x 9 1/4". Pretty design and soft colors, embroidery in fine condition; freyed binding and moderate run of thread colors on silk.
