Chinese rank badge with what I believe to be a Sixth Rank Badge with the central depiction of the Egret. The right-facing bird soaring toward the sun, is surrounded by ruyi-style clouds, flowers and auspicious symbols. All depicted with bright gold and iron red tie threads. Professionally mounted and sealed as a picture in a wooden frame.

Size: The badge measures approximately 11-1/2" wide by 11" high...

TANUKI MASK

Japanese paper-mache mask of raccoon dog as a vintage folk toy from Shizuoka region, with rare unique coloring design, 1980s, 21 x 16 x D 15 cm (8.26 x 6.29 x 5.90in)...

Hand made from quality leather and decorated with delicate thread embroidery at the toe tips and last border, the traditional pair of womans leather shoes would have been worn by a woman of some means...judging by their overall condition, these shoes have been worn a few times.

A mid to early 20th century Vietnamese chess set. Vietnam was known for accomplished mother of pearl inlay work as found in the accomplished inlay work on this black lacquer board folding to form a case. Every other square is mother of pearl with fine inlaid decoration of the same material and with incised details. Chinese polychrome enamel decorated porcelain ovoid vase, the globular body featuring Chinese figures and flowering plants and pine trees, pair of stylized dragon handles below the dished rim, marked Chinese characters on the bottom, Republic Period. Size: Height of this incredible vase is 15.5 inches. Condition Report: Great condition.

This very well designed and carved overlay glass snuff bottle is a 1970’~1980”s product. The red over bubbled milky white snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 2 1/8” wide and 1” thick. Both sides have the same design which depicts a pond scene with carp, butterfly, a lotus blossom and leaves. It has an orange carnelian cap. It is in great condition.

Here is an archetype of the archaic statuary of western Nepal depicting a protector in standing position with hands clasped together in the ritual gesture of the Namaste, covered with an important black crusty patch of soot and offering, collected in a shamanic shrine in Jumla sector, very hard wood, evident signs of great age estimated at least from the middle 20th, H 70 cm, presented on a base metal
