This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It is 8 3/4 inches by 8 3/4 inches and 2 3/4 inches deep. The porcelain is the finest quality you will find. It is decorated with traditional Chinese motifs. There is a pair of fighting roosters in the center of the bowl. Ornate dragons and Chinese symbols decorate the borders. These are all superbly hand painted and amply gilded. There is heavy gold trim on the rim...

Unique Chinese carved rock crystal double carp snuff bottle. This snuff bottle features two carps reaching upwards against a sea wave base. The smaller carp with it's mouth open and the larger carp with a rock crystal stopper in it's mouth. The double carp is a symbol in Chinese mythology for a happy union in marriage.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1112 8 inch plate in emerald green. Excellent condition, price is per plate. Tableware is very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can. Old (1930's) Chinese Pink Tourmaline Carved Necklace with 14K Gold Clip

It is 15.5 inches (39.5 cm) in inner circumference. The beads range from 8.2 mm to 20.85 mm wide. The total weight is 95.8 gram.

Cambridge Rosepoint Relish (for corn cob). Produced from 1932-1954. This relish tray is for resting an ear of corn. It measures 9.5"x3.5" and is 1.3" high. These are very hard to find.

This carved smoky crystal snuff bottle is 2” high, 3” long and 1” thick. It depicts a lucky bat resting on a melon. The crystal has some natural flaws. However, the color is quite even and it has been well hollowed and polished. It has a coral top. This is a mid-20th century product and is in good condition.

A young woman dressed in a white robe with red hakama pants is holding a folding fan and is posed to do a dance. This dress is often known as Shirabyoshi where these were sacred dances offered to the gods. The shirabyoshi figure evokes the Heian and Kamakura aesthetic and the legends contemporary to the era that portray the Shirabyoshi. Work is signed and sealed by an artist named Nanko. English Copeland Spode porcelain blue Transferware Beaker, 4" high, 3 1/8" diameter-top rim, with farmers and herds of cow in front of Italian style Castle and ruins, and wide foliage border design on top rim inside and outside. No damage or restoration. Marked "Copeland and Spode", "Italian" "England" in transfer blue color on the bottom.

Chinese low bowl done in famille verte with a reticulated rim done in a dark blue glaze. The plate shows 4 men enjoying outdoor activities by a lake in a mountainside setting. The underside contains a red Lingzhi fungus mark.

Wooden netsuke of thoughtful ape (looks like orangutan) by contemporary New Zealand netsuke carver Doug Marsden (b. 1958). Superb quality carving to the last detail, extraordinary face with horn inlaid pupils, perfectly carved hands and feet with well defined joints and nails, beautifully textured coat, great staining. Vintage demitasse cup and saucer by Royal Doulton in the "Reynard the Fox" pattern. The saucer measures approximately 4.5" in diameter and the cup measures approximately 2.5" tall and 2 1/8" in diameter across the base. It has a riding crop detail for the handle that stretches around the base. The fox and crop detail are slightly raised and beautifully hand-painted. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
