Lovely vintage Saint Lawrence seal (not seal but type of deep woods animal) fur cape with fold-over collar that extends to create slit pockets, held together with one fur hook and a beautiful detailed silhouette featuring fully lined pink doupioni silk, monogrammed, Wilhelm's Albany label, circa 1930. Offered is this rare Murano glass compote, made by Barovier & Toso (designer: Ercole Barovier) around 1940. The shell-shaped ('Conchiglia') compote is 15 inches (38 cm) long and 8 3/4 inches (22 cm) high. It is in very good condition. The pontil is polished. The shell-shaped compote has a complex marine-themed foot/support, also done with gold flecks (also, there is a slight iridescence to the blue-top glass)...

These hand painted decanter bottles were produced by Imperial Glass Company. The shape is shown in the 1941 catalog with various cuttings and decoration.
