This lovely signed cameo vase by Daum Nancy is a tiny unusual shaped treasure. It measures only 1 1/4" high x approximately 1 1/2" wide at its widest point. It has a lovely scenic design, and the vase itself has four dimples in it - one on each of its sides. It is in perfect original condition with the exception of a very small amount of gold worn off the top. This is a choice piece for a collector of miniatures.

Great miniature Daum Nancy cameo vase with a winter scene. I have had this vase in many shapes and sizes, but never so small. It appears to be much harder to create one this small than a larger one. This well carved 1970’s jade (jadeite) pendant is half of an inch thick and 2 inches in diameter. It depicts two Qi Lin (or Qi Ren) facing each other on the top, and two stylized characters of “Shou” (Longevity) are carved on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This 1970’s carved jade statue is 4 1/8 inches high, 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick. It depicts two dragons playing with a fire globe and surrounded by clouds. It is in good condition.

Kamakurabori, the lacquerware of Kamakura City in Kanagawa Prefecture, is appreciated all over Japan. This set of pre-war "chataku" tea cup coasters is a fine example of this craft. They measure 15cm(6") in diameter, with a height of 2.5cm(1"). Plenty of references are available on this craft that has its origins in producing lacquered wood carving for the numerous Buddhist temples of Kamakura during the 11th & 12th centuries.

Kokeshi, wooden folk doll of NE Japan. H. 6.25". This is an example of Zao-kei (Zao Onsen [Hot Spring]) of Yamagata Prefecture. The artisan is Kobayashi Chuujiro, who made this piece in his 60's, ca. 1990. This very well made mid 20th century Chinese Canton enamel plate is 7” in diameter and three quarters of an inch high. It depicts two yellow phoenixes over a blue background. There is a red stylized character “Shou” (longevity) on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This is an intaglio cut crystal Hawkes water goblet (partial Hawkes signature visible), ca. 1920, in the Gravic Fruit pattern, with luscious, acid-etched and frosted plums, apples, and pears suspended from beautifully incised branches; with a knopped stem and square incised foot. Feels weighty and wonderful to the touch. Hawkes’ intaglio glass was known as Gravic Glass. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 7 _ in. h.

This is a very fine pair of sterling silver asparagus tongs in the Buttercup pattern made by Gorham in the Victorian style, reticulated with chasing on the handles, marked "Gorham Sterling", measures 9 in long; excellent condition.

The Teapot (Number A2412 and 1 3/8 pints) measures 6" high x 10.5" wide and weighs 14.6 Troy ounces. The coffeepot (Number A2411 and 1 3/4 pints) measures 8" high and 10" wide and weighs 17.3 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on each. In excellent condition.

Lovely continental porcelain oyster plates in three different colors; each in perfect condition; measures 9 1/2" diameter; one with pink center, one with blue center, and one with teal center; only markings on back are a raised star. This started out as a set of 12, and I have several left in stock.

This beautiful brilliant bowl seems to be unsigned, but it is truly beautiful and extremely heavy. There is one tiny flake at the top of one of the teeth. It measures 9" in diameter.

Stunning cut glass compote from the brilliant period. I can't find a signature, but I'm sure its identifiable to an expert on patterns. This is an absolutely beautiful piece of glass, and the decoration is so elegant. I believe it started life as a vase and was made into a lamp at a later date. The background glass is sort of mottled, but almost in stripes, in gray, gold and white. It is decorated on both sides with lotus blossoms. The paint on the blossoms is so thick that it is three-dimensional. The beautiful piece of glass measures 16" tall as a vase, and 32" tall with the attached harp. It is in perfect condition.

Very nice set of eight sterling silver cocktail picks with rooster finials brightly decorated in translucent basse-taille enamels. The engraved decoration underneath the enamel lends realistic feathery details to the roosters. The exposed areas of silver are gilt. The backs are marked "925S Norway Sterling."

This miniature Japanese Satsuma vase is around 50 years old. It is 2 ½” high and 1 ½” at its widest part. It depicts a lake scene. Maple trees, iris and peonies are in front of the lake. A three story pagoda is back behind the lake. There is a painted Satsuma logo on the bottom. Aside from a small chip on the rim, it is in great condition.

This 1920~1930 carved glass snuff bottle is 3” high, 2 1/8” wide and 1 1/8” thick. Stylized lion heads have been carved on either side of the ovoid bottle. The green hard stone cap and spoon are new replacements. Aside from some surface wearing and one tiny chip on its rim, it is in great condition.

This 1980 Japanese carved wood and walrus fisherman is 5 ¾” high, 2” wide and 2 ¼” thick. It depicts a smiling fisherman; one handing is holding a fish, another hand is holding a net. He carries a basket full of fish on his back. The fisherman’s body was carved from walrus; his robe and pants were carved from hard wood.
