This really pretty crystal clear elegant glass two-piece Chintz Cheese and Cracker snack set was made by Fostoria Glass from 1940 to 1976. The indented cracker plate measures 10 3/4 inches in diameter. The footed cheese comport measures 3 inches in diameter X 5 inches high. The comport sits on the large plate. Pretty sterling silver sardine fork in Manchester's 1951 "Amaryllis" pattern. The design is somewhat similar to Chantilly, and has a very Victorian feel. The fork could be used for sardines, as well as for a variety of hors d'oeuvres. The back of the handle is stamped with Manchester's hallmark.

This really pretty Dresden Duchess 8 3/8 Inch Serving Spoon was made by Harker China. This Spoon is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The decoration and gold trim is all very good. There is some crazing in the glaze indicative to the old china. It does not take away from the beauty of this piece. A man's cloth or beti by the Atoin meto people from West Timor, woven in three parts and sewn together lengthways. In the middle an antromorph pattern in warp ikat, both ends with fringes. Condition: good, faded, some stains. Dimension without fringes: 173 cm x 108 cm.

Semi antique blanket or sarong from the Stieng/Xtiêng ethnic group Vietnam. Over 60 years. Woven from all handspun cotton threads and is unusually large for a single panel. There is one ink stain and a small hole (see cover image- there is a stain on the right and further down and small hole). W: 100cm/39.8in and L: 185cm72in.

These salad servers comprise a fork and spoon with rosewood handles and hand-wrought sterling silver tines and bowl. Each is decorated with three simple applied beads at the collar that wraps around the handles. The backs bear the mark of Taxco silversmith Bernice Goodspeed as well as sterling marks. Both are securely attached to the handles, although the spoon is a bit loose. The wood is in very nice shape, and the silver shows much oxidation but little wear...

Horizon is a Fostoria pattern that was produced from 1951 to 1958. It is a perfect blend of 'fifties modern' and simple elegance. This covered candy jar is 5 inches in diameter. The color is Spruce Green. It's in very good condition, with only a tiny flea bite off the inner rim of the lid. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Beautiful ocean-themed glass vase depicting swordfish swimming amongst bubbles. The vase is just under 9 inches (22 cm) in height. Good condition (one foot blemish). Unsigned - similar Waterford vase is shown on page 158 of Judith Miller's book, '20th Century Glass' (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

Six 17th century style sterling silver coffee spoons in the original velvet and satin lined box. The finials are in the shape of globe artichokes. Each spoon is fully hallmarked for London, 1946. Both the spoons and the box are in mint condition. Spoons 4" long.

A very rare wood and pewter bar caraffe or decanter with glass thermos liner and Swiss made musical movement which plays "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss. This item was designed by Aldo Tura for Macabo of Milan, Northern Italy, and made circa 1958. Condition: excellent - there is a little rusting to the movement which is in good working condition; there are no damages and no repairs or restoration. 32cm (12.6 inches) high.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. It has the artist’s signature, Fritz Heidenreich, impressed into the base. The bird measures 9 5/8 inches high and is 9 1/2 inches long. The bird is modeled with his beautiful tail feathers extended in their natural splendor. The colors are brilliant. He is wonderful to look at from any position. Heidenreich had the ability to bring this exotic bird alive in porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This is an amazing diorama the features a once real parrot that has been to the taxidermist. The parrot, the frame, all of it is in amazing condition. There is a signature of the painter/artist on the inside of the piece. Even though it does not show, there is a piece of clear plexiglass that covers the front so you cannot touch Mr. Parrot and disturb him. This is a very unique and hard to find item!
