An enamel on copper cup or beaker and a small dish. Both are Italian modernist pieces (1950’s), both enameled in tomato red with black speckles (the back of the dish in gilt and white). Both pieces marked Made in Italy: the cup with a small metal sign in the way of Paolo de Poli,the dish with impressed mark. Height of cup "2/ 5 cm, diameter of dish "3½/ 8,7 cm. Condition: fine.

Designed by Georg Nilsson and produced by the big Dutch cutlery manufacturer Gero in the Danish factory they had purchased in 1922 and where GN (trained by Georg Jensen) was the chief designer. Marked Gerotin (tin is Danish for pewter). Height "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine.

Simple and beautiful silver beaker or small vase with flaring rim and a neat “pearl” border at the base. Made by Van Kempen, Begeer & Vos (1919-60), purveyors to the Dutch Court. Marks: KBV, Dutch silver marks for 835 and year mark for 1921. Height "3¼/ 8 cm. Condition: small dent 2 centimeters from the base (cf photo).
A small bronze figure of a penguin by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950, unsigned. This model, with neck feathers, does not seem to be among the later reproduced miniatures. Nice patina. Height "2/ 5,5 cm. Condition: fine.
Nursery rhyme-themed sterling silver porringer. Made by Tiffany in New York. Round and curved. Handle solid and curvilinear with goose neck mounts. On handle is low-relief depiction of Old King Cole, who has "called for his pipe and called for his bowl." A dense olden-days scene with no room for the "fiddlers three." There's plenty of room for engraving, though. Fully marked including postwar pattern no. 25352. Very good condition.
