It is in a myriad of blue colours with subtle gradations and shading and it has a gold rim and gold leaf veins. It has the Mt. Fuji mark used from 1900-20 and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs...

A Maling Peony 6504A large 10-7/8" centerpiece bowl from the 1930s. This English pottery bowl is fully hand painted in cobalt blue with red, purple, yellow and blue peony flowers with green leaves and brown branches. It has the Maling stamp in use from 1934~1940 and it stands 2-3/8" high on its three feet. A great looking addition to your table or collection. Vittorio Zecchin designed for Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Capellin, Venini & Co. from 1921-1925. This delicate soffiato vessel is wafer thin and has 2 acid stamps: venini murano & MADE IN ITALY. Nearly 100 years old, measuring 10.5" tall, this weightless beauty is in very good condition with no damage.

In Venice Italy, these Obelisks were recently included in Fondazione Cini's exhibition "Paolo Venini and His Furnace," and are documented in the exhibition catalogue, page 308, model 4300. Constructed of thick canes twisted into a zanfrico design, this is a fine example of utilizing the traditional Venetian technique of zanfrico in a modern expression. The Obelisk has the 2 acid stamps: venini murano, made in Italy, measures 8" tall, and is in good condition.
