Large Art Deco ceramic sculpture by Charles Catteau (France, 1880-1966)for Boch Freres Keramis, circa 1925-1935, depicting an ice skating couple. In excellent condition. Small glaze skip on the shoulder of the woman (original to the piece). Signed with Boch Freres La Louviere circular printed mark and inscribed 1133 on the bottom. Also inscribed "BFK Ch. Catteau" underglaze on the base. Approximately 13" tall.

A Sterling silver Serving Fork by Georg Jensen, Pattern No. 54 design (1915-1927). Length 7.5". Excellent condition.

Nice wooden recipe box in the form of a book. The cover has burnt and painted decoration showing a cocktail shaker and a beverage. The "title" of the book is "The Art of Mixing Cocktails". The cover opens to reveal a storage area for paper recipe cards specifically designed for cocktail recipes. Ca. 1920. Very good condition; the leather binding on the hinge has dried out and has surface flaking. 6-3/4" x 5-1/4".

19th/20th Century cylindrical bone scroll holder inscribed and stained with insects, moths, and frog, surmounted by a carved rootwood figure of a crawling toad. It is 7 1/4" tall and has a character mark to base.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1174 fan vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in emerald green. The vase is approximately 4 inches high and in perfect condition. Friendship hand made quilt with each 7" by 7" square embroidered with a different name in various letterings, Pennsylvania, c.1930's. Trimmed with 1" blue border, there are 72 names in total and the quilt measures 73" by 64". Quilt is thick and heavy and in excellent condition. Very unusual.....$75 for insured USA shipping.

This variation is hard to find. The honey color is a ceramic wash applied over crystal...

The Santa maria line was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1926 and items in this line are very difficult to find. Offered here is the #2566 Covered Cigarette Box in crystal. The cover depicts Columbus' flagship, the Santa Maria, while the bottom has dolphins on each side. Excellent condition. The original company ad reads, "Appeals to both men and women. Can be used for cigarettes or on a dresser or vanity to hold powder." (I keep tootsie rolls in mine....)

A charming petit point on silk purse, done in the tiniest of stitches, and showing a different scene on each side. On the front is a young woman feeding a chicken, the other side showing a swan in a lake with a fountain and castle in the distance. Both sides have a line of flowers surrounding the scenes, the whole against a pale gray lavender background...

Beautiful green gold silver silk bed cover made of the bottom trim from antique wedding saris . The cover fits a queen, the seams are somewhat delicate and a few have seperated but easily fixed with double sided iron tape I fixed a few spots over the years . This was used in a spare guest suite. I bought this wholesale in 2002 at the LA trade show for 275.00 size approx 84 by 93" due to the amount of seams and that it is antique fabrics we are selling this asis.

Fostoria Glass Company made Versailles from 1928-30. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Thanks for looking.

Vase by Danish manufacturer Hjorth, c 1920-30. Grey stoneware, decoration of Art Déco scroll work in “flow” copper red under beautifully crackled glaze. Probably by Hans Hjorth. The Hjorth Terracotta Factory, now part of the Bornholm museum, is still working in the same premises where it was founded in the 19th century, still using the same equipment. Impressed deer mark (Hjorth is Danish for deer). Height "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine

Two beautiful Quezal and Durand iridescent art glass vases made around 1925. Both vases are signed on their polished pontils and both vases are in excellent condition (there is an etched, 'V' on the body of the Durand vase - it might be the first initial of Victor Durand). Both vases are approximately 8 inches tall.

Fabulous sassy pouch and totally intact, a major feat for a little purse that ancient! Large blue faceted beads, two levels of tiny silver bead fringe and an eight strand long tassel. Great lining and metal drawstring. Some lucky person danced the Charleston with this little purse swinging from her wrist. Diameter of purse fully opened 4 1/2", length of purse 5", length of tassel 2 1/2", wristband tightens automatically by metal drawstring to fit any size wrist.

Offered is this beautiful copper wheel engraved plate in jade glass, made around 1930 by Steuben. The plate is about 8 1/2 inches wide and is in excellent condition. It is signed by Steuben, both in block letters and with the fleur-de-lis symbol.
