This plate is a fine example of the work of Hamada Shoji, a well known Japanese master potter. It is 7 ¾ inches in diameter. It carries a letter of authenticity from Mr. Barry Till who is curator of Asian Art, Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. It was purchased in 1967 from a dealer in Hawaii. It is in very good condition.

Pair of traditional American Colonial sterling silver 3-light candelabra. Each: Knopped baluster shaft on stepped and raised foot. Two scrolled arms each terminating in single socket mounted to wax pan. Central socket with detachable vasiform finial. Converts to candlestick. Marked “Sterling / 1260” and Ensko maker’s stamp. Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1114 4 1/2 inch finger or mayo bowl in Emerald. Excellent condition, price is per bowl. Tableware is very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can. Chinese carved agate snuff bottle, one side has a fu-dog and a bat, the other side has an old man scholar sitting near a door in a stone wall and another bat, the agate is a pretty light yellowish orange color with white striations of which the figures are carved, lid is reddish orange agate, 20th century. Size: 2 3/4" high

Galle bud vase in amethyst over yellow base glass with a very unusual floral design. The leaves below the stems of the flowers are engraved with fine lines to indicate veining in the leaves. The Galle signature on the vase is engraved such as in signature 58 on page 143 of Blount’s “French Cameo Glass.” The vase is undamaged and measures 8 5/8 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter.

Pair of Neoclassical-style decanters, ca. 1980. Globular body in white campher glass. Scroll handle with foliate cap is silver plate as is mouth collar and hinged over, which are in form of ram’s head. Fun and fanciful. Very good condition.
