The first male figure reclines on a chair of waves and cat tails and holds a trident; the adjacent female figures ride various sea-beasts while one holds a downward-pointing spear...

Cast iron boot scrape in the form of a Scottie in its original blue paint. The two long spikes that hold the boot scrape in the ground are marked "Copyrighted 1927 By Household Patent Co. Morristown, PA." The company made a variety of metal products such as weather vanes and boot scrapes. Excellent condition; about 5% paint loss; the back side has remnants of old fabric-based adhesive tape that could be removed. 10" wide; 15.5" tall.

An ornate sterling silver napkin ring fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1932 with a cutout monogram. It is 1-1/8" wide and 1-13/16" across the interior, and it has a fancy engine turned design as well as a cut out fancy Gothic T or F monogram. Old Counsellor cigar box, altered by hand, painted black, fitted with red felt interior compartments to hold jewelry, the lid carved and painted in a Deco design. The box measures 8 3/4" by 6 1/4" by 2 3/4". On the bottom one can see under the paint the original incised declarations of authenticity of the cigars, including notary public seal from Ulster County, New York, and other information that is difficult to decipher...

Pretty English Modern sterling silver vase, 1937. Straight and tapering sides with curved bottom; overhanging mouth has wavy curvilinear rim with applied reeding. Stepped and domed foot; foot underside wood lined. Fully marked including Birmingham assay stamp, Boodle & Dunthorne maker’s stamp, and phrase “Boodle & Dunthorne / Liverpool”. Very good condition.

Vintage Japanese lacquer kogai style kanzashi - a hair pin - with black and gold lacquer decoration. Kogai type kanzashi consists of two sticks featuring a design on each end, which tend to be wider than the centre. Kogai resemble sheathed swords, with one end being removable in order for it to be placed in the hairstyle. Original circa 1930's Chocolat Vinay box, circular, 9 3/4" diameter, 2 1/8" in height, the outer surfaces covered in lithographed patterns featuring what appear to be white roses against a Deco style patterned background. The interior of the box is printed in a gold and violet rose pattern. The bottom is a dark red, with the identification of the manufacturer of the chocolates. The box though it exhibits heavy wear---on the surfaces, and edges----retains a collectability...
