A vintage Japanese Kamo Kimono Biraki Tansu in 2 sections made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hardware and natural finish. Upper section has 2 sliding doors behind which lies a split level shelf and 2 small drawers with a pair of hinged doors that hides 4 full width Kimono trays. The bottom section has 3 side by side drawers and 3 full width drawers below.

Chinese polychrome figural roof tile mounted on a wooded display stand by artist K. Y. Lin. This clay roof tile depicts a warrior riding a bird, probably a flycatcher or phoenix. Measures about 14" high x 14" long x 4.75" deep.

A spectacular pair of large jadeite paradise flycatchers measuring over 15 inches tall and on stand over 17" high. Carved from the same block of jadeite, they weigh over 30 lbs. A classic sterling silver double jigger by Reed & Barton. Unlike most double jiggers, this style has the two bell-shaped measures joined directly at the middle rather than having a spacer, creating a more compact shape. The inside of one cup is hallmarked by Reed & Barton.

A fine Art Deco 800 silver graduated jigger in an exaggerated flaring design. The sections measure 1, 1 1/2, and 2 1/2 ounces. The bottom is stamped for 800 silver and has an Italian mark used 1935-38 that was applied to finished silver goods already in the inventories of Italian jewelers and silversmiths.

A delightful and very rare set of 12 sterling silver cocktail picks with gilt Devil’s head finials presented in their original fitted box. The snarling devils come complete with horns! A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red, meant to signify “go,” “caution,” and “stop.” Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger’s bottom. The bottom is hallmarked by Gorham.

A vintage Japanese Okidoko (Tokonoma alcove chest) made of a dense grain Akita Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood. Originally it was used to showcase Ikebana flower arrangements, special porcelain vases, Japanese sculptures, or seasonal displays. The cabinet hidden by the sliding doors was used to store tea ceremony paraphernalia such as scrolls, tea bowls and Ikebana vessels.

It will work in a contemporary setting to elevate and display any myriad of items.
