This is a very Handsome pair of all original French Club chairs form the late 40's, early 50's. They sit deep and comfortably. They have their original velvet cushions. Huge, comfortable French Club chair solo. The Gendarme back chairs get their name from the Shape of Napoleon and the French Gendarmes(Policemans hat) from the mid 19th century. A Royal Doulton Pixies D3690 series ware baby or child's bowl circa 1920s. This seldom seen 7-1/2" across ceramic seriesware design shows three green and yellow garbed pixies holding Chinese lanterns. It has the black Royal Doulton England mark with the D 3690 hand painted number. It is in fair condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a 5/8" chip to the upper rim and some allover crazing. it was introduced in 1913 and was discontinued by 1929 or 1930...

From the Regent Works, Longton, Staffordshire, we offer this set of 12 Royal Crown Chelsea plates. Each plate has a soft yellow center. The border is gold encrusted and features alternating designs of raised aqua blue and gold enamel squares and double pink roses. The plates are 9 3/4 inches in diameter. The mark is the red mark and indicates that the plates were made as part of the Regent works, Longton, Staffordshire...

Small glaze skip on the shoulder of the woman (original to the piece). Signed with Boch Freres La Louviere circular printed mark and inscribed 1133 on the bottom. Also inscribed "BFK Ch. Contemporary Korean single section kitchen cabinet, made with bold elm wood (Keyaki in Japanese). This piece has an upper and lower set of sliding doors with attractive latticework over rice paper. The top and mid region have four small drawers across, with the very top middle drawers as hidden compartments. The bottom of the piece has two doors on hinges, and a middle lock to match the others.
