This is a very fine example of Tapio Wirkkala's Jäkälä (Lichen) /Sormivaasi (Finger vase) series. It measures 3 7/8" (10cm) high. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala Ittala. Mint condition.

Monumental sommerso decanter by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. In brown glass cased inside a layer of pale yellow. This enormous decanter, standing 22" tall to the top of the stopper, is a showstopper. In excellent condition.

A similar bottle was featured in the 1998 Sotheby's auction "Important 20th Century Glass" with an estimate of $1,800 to $2,400.

Horizon is a Fostoria pattern that was produced from 1951 to 1958. It is a perfect blend of 'fifties modern' and simple elegance. Offered here is the 6 inch cereal bowl in the Cinnamon color. Mosaic pottery tazza and vase from the 1940s or 50s, by Gerbino, France. The handling and modelling of clays in various colors necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French studio pottery center of the period. Impressed marks Gerbino and Vallauris. Height of tazza "3 ½ / 9 cm and of the vase "5 ½ / 14 cm, diameter of tazza "6/ 15 cm. Condition: fine.

Household protector made of wood, carved to represent two Janus type heads surmounted by horns. This protector was installed on top of a house roof. Beautiful age patina. Indonesia, Timor Island. Ritual spoon, its handle carved in the shape of a male ancestor wearing cap and bracelets on arms and legs. A very rare feature is that the ancestor is also wearing a Christian cross at the end of a long necklace. Indonesia, Flores Island. Height: 8 7/16" (21,5 cm). Old accident, restored locally, at the junction between the spoon and the handle, tiny chips, otherwise good condition. A truly rare piece.
