This Miao Chinese ethnic minority jacket would have been worn by a teenage girl for festival. All the batik work was hand-painted and all stitches and embroidery was done by hand. The row of silver hemisphere's across the back represent the "bubble" in the Miao creation myth.
The jacket is approx 70 years old and is from Zhi Jin
This sterling souvenir spoon depicting King Kamehameha was made by the Charles M. Robbins Co. circa 1900-1926.
This 11" fetish is carved from a dark ebony colored work and has no paint work. The poultice sacks on the body are in excellent condition. Very beautiful, very desirable.

An uncommon boxed set of twelve Art Deco sterling silver cocktail picks with red bakelite finials in the shape of maraschino cherries. The picks are presented in their original velvet and silk-lined fitted box. Each pick is marked “Sterling Silver”. It's quite rare to find a set of a dozen picks rather than the standard six.
Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the footed sherbet in crystal. Perfect condition. I have 3 available, price is per sherbet. Balinese Mask of an old man or Topèng Tua, used in the art form of the Topeng dance drama, which came about in the 15th century in Bali and Java. The Balinese version of Topeng would include many different character masks, some speaking and some non-speaking. This Topèng Tua mask has been hand carved from wood with lacquered paint features and has real hair mounted on strips of leather. circa 1920s

This tumbler vase is part of the Martele Line produced by Consolidated Glass Company during the 1920's. The pattern is called 'Katydid', though it's usually referred to as the 'grasshopper' vase. 8 inches tall, the color of the glass is blue crystal. (The color is in the glass, not a wash applied over clear glass.) Excellent condition and very hard to find in this color.

Martin Mayer’s firm, founded 1888, was a well-known manufacturer of silver cutlery and jewelry until it was confiscated by the Nazis in 1938.
