Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #714 footed sundae dish (or sherbet) in honey. The color is a yellow ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. crystal. Beautiful Meissen charger in perfect condition. It has a pink background with gold gilt relive on flowers and border. This lovely charger was obviously well loved, as it has no wear to the gold, no cracks, chips, scratches or repairs. It measures 11" diameter.
Chinese Blanc de Chine Quan Yin seated on a resting elephant. Quan Yin, goddess of great compassion, is holding 2 lotus flowers, one of which is broken symbolizing a broken spirit. She is holding both pieces of the stem in her hand. The lotus symbolizes purity, spiritual enlightenment, and in this case, new beginnings or rebirth. Excellent detailing and in excellent condition, it dates end of 2nd quarter 20th century. Measures 7.5ʺ wide × 4.5ʺ deep × 12ʺ high.

A lovely early 20th century Imperial Russian wooden Easter egg with polychrome decoration of a young peasant couple engaged in a kiss. The image is very sweet and nicely detailed. The back side of the egg bears the gilt letters “XB” for “Christ is Risen.” Careful examination of the drill holes in the egg show even oxidation of unpainted surfaces and the paint has typical aligatoring, supporting a very late 19th or early 20th century age...
