The pole, when mounted with several puppets, would be used in festival processions, with the bouncing of the pole animating the movements of the figures...

This is a beautiful pair of small saucer in the motif of a lotus flowers in a pond. On the saucer, it has a outstanding stalk of lotus flower standing upright in full bloom. Below it, there are also two smaller flowers in full bloom. One of the flowers to the left has the petals dropping off showing the green pod, suggesting that the season is probably near mid summer. Around it, to the left, two butterflies are seen flying around...
