A large Murano glass fish figurine with silver flecks and variegated color splashes, designed in the style of Dino Martens (for Aureliano Toso). The figurine is 16 1/4 inches (41,3 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Except for some roughness at the bottom of the tail (probably as made), it is in fine condition. It is made in green and clear sommerso glass. Unsigned - remnants of a large yellow sticker on bottom (please see last picture).

A large bright, hand painted, matt glazed Art Deco vase made in the Plateelba Zuid-Holland (PZH) factory, Gouda, in the Netherlands. This item carries the date mark for 1932. Condition: Excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration. 30cm (12inches) high; 16cm (6.3inches) diameter.

Kokeshi, wooden folk toy of NE Japan. Height: 7.5". This is an example of kokeshi made in Fukushima Prefecture, other than its better known cousin of the "Tsuchiyu" tradition. This was made in 1968 at Takayu Onsen (Takayu Hot Spring) by the artisan, Shinogi Toshio, when he was 37 years old. Shinogi-san was born on September 3rd, Showa 6 (1931). Japanese early Showa period vintage child's silk kimono decorated with cranes flying among pines, both symbols of longevity. White silk lining. Measures about 37” long (excluding collar) and about 32 1/2” across (sleeve tip to sleeve tip). Circa 1940. Very good overall condition with only a few tiny spots on one shoulder. It appears to have never been worn and has been kept stored safely away in an air-tight trunk. From the Tucson, Arizona estate of a World War II veteran.

An elegant ceramic obidome (obi clasp) with silver mount (guaranteed) formed as a leaf, glazed in mottled tones of red and blue, with a hand woven silk cord dyed in the same colors; all contained in original box from Matsumasa, Kyoto. Taisho/early Showa period.

The actual colors are gentle; red in blue/purple tint with a soft blue color. What did not show in the photos are the exact matching colors of the ceramic leaf and silk cord...

Balinese Mask of an old man or Topèng Tua, used in the art form of the Topeng dance drama, which came about in the 15th century in Bali and Java. The Balinese version of Topeng would include many different character masks, some speaking and some non-speaking. This Topèng Tua mask has been hand carved from wood with lacquered paint features and has real hair mounted on strips of leather. circa 1920s Size: 7.75" height, 5.75" width

Beautifully carved Green Spinach Jade Chinese Boulder with landscape scenes of mountainous village with go players and bamboo groves, peaked rooflines and finely written calligraphy poetry on two surfaces on an interesting wooden reticulated branch base.
