This chalkware TV lamp is of a deer jumping over a log at the edge of a forest. The lamp is painted in greens, browns and black, and is wonderfully detailed, from the bark on the log, to the branches on the trees. The condition is excellent, with almost no paint loss, a few flakes here and there, and no chips that I can find. And the antlers are intact! There is a scorch on the back from a bulb that may have been a bit to warm! If you use the lamp, it does work, the wattage should be kept very low, 15 or less. The piece measures 7.5 inches Tall, 9 inches wide and is 4 inches deep including the socket. It has an impressed mark COPR. ORANAMENTAL ARTS & CRAFTS on the upper edge of the log, and bears a label for Moosehead Lake, Maine. Circa 1950's
