Early Ming Dynasty Yongle ( 1403 - 1424 ) blue and white Jarlet. Very nice condition . H : 5,5 cm.

A nice challenge for each restorer. Early Ming Dynasty Zhengtong period ( 1436 - 49 ) blue and white dish with a extraordinary nice and rich decoration. The old unprofessional gluings can be open again trough to cook in water. D : 20 cm.

A large Ming Dynasty porcelain dish decorated with floral scrolls in underglaze cobalt blue. Pieces of this kind were found at the LENA SHOAL JUNK. Such pieces are also to find in the Topkapi Museum and in some other excellent collections. Ming Dynasty, late 15th. to the early 16th. century. Diameter : 32,2 cm. Condition : Perfect !

Jarlet of globular form with a short cylindrical lipped neck and two horizontal lugs on the shoulder.Decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue with a continuous chrysanthemum scroll.Porcelain body covered with a transparent glaze. The dish is remarkable because of its very decorative extraordinary deep and intensive crackled Guan like glaze. Song - Yuan Dynasty Longquan ware. Diameter : 12,6 cm. Condition : Perfect

A nice, well potted Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ) Shufu ware bowl. Diameter : 16,2 cm. H : 4,8 cm. Condition : Perfect

Incised decoration, matt pale blue-greenish grey glaze over a porcelain body and base. Foot rim unglazed. Longquan ware, Zhejiang. Southern Song Dynasty thirteenth centry. Diameter : 15,4 Condition : Perfect ( nice bell like ring tone when tapped )

Cup with everted flat lip and a short raised foot. Decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue on the rim with a key - fret design and a continuous chrysanthemum scroll on the exterior. Porcelain body with a transparent glaze. Base recessed and unglazed. D : 8 cm. Jingdezhen or Fujian. Yuan Dynasty fourteenth century. Condition : Nearly perfect - there is just one short nearly not visible hairline. ( John S. Guy , Oriental Trade Ceramics in South - East Asia, item Nr. 55 )

A genuine example of classic Ding ware ( Dingyao ) is rarely seen here at Trocadero. The sketchy incised design of the " duck in a pond " challenges the imagination. Song Dynasty. Provenance : Old German collection. Diameter : 16,5 cm. Condition : Perfect, still with the original rim band in copper.

Ming Dynasty Chenghua period minyao ( 1465 - 1487 ) blue and white rider bowl. This is a very nice example, because normally the riders on such bowls are much smaller painted. D : 5,8 inc. Nearly perfect condition, there are only 2 minute age - chracks, but only in the glaze, the piece is not broken.

A most beautiful piece. Superbly, thinly potted porcelain body covered with an excellent bluish-white colored glaze. Song Dynasty ( 960 – 1279 ). Diameter : 9,6 cm. H : 7,1 cm. Condition : Some very faint crackles in the glaze but not to the body of the jar.

Yuan Dynasty ( 1271 - 1368 ) brown glazed stoneware bowl. D : 13,9 cm. H : 6,8 cm. ( with a nice glaze-characteristic in one area outside, which can be seen on the enlargements ) Condition : Perfect

Rare Ming Dynasty ewer resp. pouring vessel in the shape of a duck. The piece is not really a Sancai, because Sancai means 3 colours, and this duck is just in a very nice green. Erthenware with lead glaze. There is a - not simmilair, but compareable piece in the book : Oriental Trade Ceramics in South - East Asia ( John S. Guy ) page 103, Nr.91. This piece is described as : South China, possibly Fujian, Ming Dynasty, fifteenth to early sixteenth centuries...

Extremely rare Song - Yuan Dynasty glassvase. But this rare and extraordinary piece also might be earlyer, because it has been excavated together with some broken Tang Dynasty sancai items. Unfortunately I am not very familiair with early chinese glass. I would be very grateful for more informations about this item. H : 9 inc. Very good condition !

Condition : Perfect. ( This what looks like a small chip to the rim is covered by the original glaze - therfore this is not a later damage )

Ewer of pear-shaped form and the moulded decoration of 2 Phoenix. The porcelain body covered with a nice and glossy Qingbai glaze. Jingdezhen or Fujian, Yuan Dynasty, fourteenth century. H : 9,3 cm.
