This ceramic vase was produced in what was then known as Bohemia at the Turn-Teplitz factory in 1906-07. The artist is identified as Paul Dachel, shown in plate 514, in the book “House of Amphora”. This vase is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter is 5 3/4 inches. It has four handles connecting the double gourd shape. There are gilded knobs sprouting around the top. A band of metallic gilding contains large enameled flowers and foliage. The body of the vase has a dark bronze-like coloring and matte finish. There are subtle colors and textures combined with a unique shape that makes this vase most attractive. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain oil lamp was produced in England by the Copeland Factory in the late 18th or early 19th century. There are no markings on this piece but we have seen the exact design on other items identified from the Copeland factory. It measures 4 3/4 inches from the handle to the spout and is 1 1/2 inches high. The porcelain appears to be ironstone china. The shape of the lamp is taken from the ancient Greeks. There is a scene with figures done in high relief on the top. The sides of the lamp have an ornately hand painted Imari style design with intricate gilding. They used moss green, cobalt blue, rust red and salmon pink in the decoration. The rims and handle are trimmed with heavy gilding. Condition: There is slight gold wear around the edge of the lamp, spout and handle. It is a wonderful and rare object deserving of your consideration.

This glass covered jar was produced in Europe. It has the style of the 1870s period but we are not certain of the manufacturer. The jar is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. The glass is hand blown with a swirl of opalescent color entwined with powder blue. You can feel the ribs in the glass with your fingers. There is a hand painted scene in silhouette of children watching a bird on the lid. It is quite charming, with good detail. The lower half of the jar is trimmed with a ring of white enamel beads. Condition: Excellent

This crystal dresser jar was produced in Belgium in the early 20th century. It is not signed but we believe it was made by Val St. Lambert. We have seen this pattern before. The jar measures 3 3/8 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches high. The crystal is hand blown and cut with panels and star bursts. The lid has floral decorations that are acid etched from green to clear. The workmanship is very fine and detailed. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain trembleuse chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Royal Porcelain Manufacturer, Berlin, between 1830 and 1840. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 7/8 inches high. The cup has two handles and the saucer has a reticulated gallery attached to it to hold the cup in place. Both pieces have a molded basket weave border around the rims. The set is richly decorated with elaborate gilding and hand painted scenes. CONDITION: There is slight wear to gilding inside rim of cup. The foot ring on the saucer has a tiny firing crack that occurred in manufacturing

These porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1750. They have the blue underglaze crossed swords mark from this period. The plates have a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. The rims are scalloped and there is a molded basket-weave type border. The plates are about 1 1/2 inches deep. They are hand painted with colorful fruits and flowers. There are butterflies and flower buds dotting each piece. Lacy gilding trims the rims. They are priced individually. Condition: There is wear to the gilding on the rims. There are light surface scratches in the centers. One plate has two glazed-over nicks in the foot ring that occurred in the manufacturing process. Overall, these plates are in fine shape, considering their age.

This porcelain loving cup was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1911. There is a date cipher that indicates this year. The cup is 4 1/2 inches high and is 5 inches across the handles. It is made of fine, white bone china. It has delicate handles and a pedestal base. The cup is beautifully hand painted with garlands of tiny roses and forget-me-nots. There is heavy raised gilding around the border of the cup, on the handles, and on the foot. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain bottles with stoppers was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the late 19th century. They are 5 inches high, including the stoppers. The porcelain bodies have flowers and scallops molded into them. They are hand painted with buttercup flowers and foliage. There is a blue butterfly on each bottle. The molded decorations are accented with gold. It is wonderful to find a matched pair after so many generations. Condition: Excellent

These 10 porcelain berry dishes or bowls were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1876 and 1886. There is a double mark indicating this period. The dishes are 4 5/8 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. The set is decorated in a Japanese inspired transfer print that is hand colored. There are delicate sprays of pastel colored flowers. These are accented by butterflies and Japanese gold and silver balls. The rims are trimmed with an apricot colored border. These would be wonderful for serving raspberries. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in France by Haviland Limoges in 1905. The two marks indicate this period. They measure 9 1/8 inches in diameter. The molded border has a crimped edge creating a pattern around the rim. The 1 5/8 inch cobalt blue border is ornately gilded. It is hand painted by the Haviland artist S. Armand. The scenes depict beautiful young women in garden landscapes. The expert artistry is evident in each minute detail. These were rare and expensive plates even for the time they were produced. The foot rings on the backs of the plates are gilded. Condition: Excellent

This 11 piece dessert plate set was produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1876 and 1886. They have double markings indicating this period. The set consists of one serving plate and 10 smaller plates. The large plate is 10 inches across the handles and the small dishes are 7 1/4 inches in diameter. The serving plate has pierced handles. Each piece has an apricot colored band around the rim. The decoration is a Japanese inspired transfer print that is hand colored. There are wispy branches of flowers accented with butterflies and round silver Japanese ornaments. The design is very delicate. Condition: Excellent

This set of 6 covered chocolate cups or pot de crèmes was produced in England in the mid 19th century. They are unmarked so we cannot identify them specifically. They are 4 1/2 inches high including the lids. They are made of fine bone china. They are decorated with wide panels of bright orange. There are flowers and gilded leaves within these panels. The finials on the lids and rims are trimmed with gold. The cups bear a gilded wreath containing a monogram. Condition: Excellent. There maybe a speck of gold loss but for the most part they are practically as good as the day they were made.

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Germany by KPM in the early 20th century. The saucer is 6 1/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine hard paste porcelain. It has molded decoration in the porcelain of flowers and vines. There is a band of lacy gilding trimming the rims of both pieces. Condition: Excellent

This glass decanter was produced in Europe in the late 19th century in the area then known as Bohemia. It has no signature or marking. It is 10 inches high, including the stopper, and 5 3/4 inches wide. The glass is hand blown crystal. Inside the cut stopper is a teardrop bubble. The handle is applied. The decoration is hand enameled cherries, leaves and branches. There is gold trim on the rim and handle. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany in the late 19th century. It has a maker’s mark under the glaze we do not recognize. The plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It has a beautiful reticulated border that is quite elaborate. The center of the plate is painted with a garden scene with lovers under a tree. The painting is expertly done. There is lacy gold trim around the inside of the plate. The reticulated border is painted with vivid flowers and outlined in gold. Condition: There is slight wear to the gilding on the rim.

This porcelain platter was produced in Germany by Hermann Ohme. It was sold white to the Donath Dresden decorating studio in the late 19th century. The platter has a diameter of 11 1/4 inches. The porcelain is molded with deep swirls and has a scalloped border. The center of the platter is beautifully hand painted with a bouquet of flowers. They are realistically painted and are vivid in color. The border of the platter has intricate gilding. Condition: Excellent. We have 2 platters available.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode before 1825. It has the hand painted puce number 739 on both pieces. The set is in the “London” shape. The porcelain is very fine bone china. It is hand painted with sprays of brightly colored flowers. There is a cobalt blue border decorated with elaborate gold designs. The outside of the cup is also decorated with gold. Conditon: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby before 1906. There are date ciphers for 1904 on the saucer and 1906 on the cup. It would be within the Edwardian period. The saucer has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, translucent bone china. There are gilded laurel leaves accented with white raised enamel beads on cobalt blue bands around the rims of each piece. Garlands of green leaves are dotted with tiny pink roses. The decoration is all hand painted. There is even a band of flowers running around the inside rim of the cup. Condition: Excellent
