Chinese Bamboo Carved Brush Pot, inscribed and carved "Tao Kuang" in Chinese Characters, Ca. 1821-1851, 4 3/4" high, 2 3/4" diameter, low relief carved old scholar with long walking stick admiring the mountain scenery under the tree inside square enclosed window, and the other side is carved Poem with very stylish script Chinese characters and also carved "Tao Kuang" Emperor's name on the side. The quality of carving is excellent high quality by Artist. There are two(2) small holes about 1/2" wide and very tight age crack caused by natural cause, 1/2" long on the bottom rim and some lines around rim.

Chinese white glazed Blanc de Chin Double Gourd Vase with incised 4 Ruyi with 3 flower petals inside each Ruyi design, 19th century, 5 1/2" high, 2 1/8" diameter-bottom rim, 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4" wide-widest middle section of the vase, unglazed bottom and sand got stuck around bottom rim during firing and also large sand firing mark on the side of the vase about 1/2" long, all the dots and dark area is kiln imperfect markings. Top has some tiny frits.

Set of Eight(8) Japanese different shades of Gold Maki lacquered covered bowls, Ca. late Meiji early 1900, 3 1/4" high include top or cover, 4 1/2" diameter top rim. Raised low relief design of Gold Maki Lacquered Ferns and other flowering plants behind rock garden in early spring on dark chocolate color of lacquer on wood. The beautiful and detailed fine Lacquer work was done two different shades of gold in different relief design continues to the cover, bottom and side. Inside the bowl is very light color of cafe au lait color, different than outside dark chocolate color. Two(2) gold lacquer butterflies decorated under the cover. There are very minimal few tiny lacquer chips average size of 1/8" on the bottom and top rim, not very noticeable.
